I’m jealous I would love to be called for this :( but yeah, do it!
Do you have to be a British citizen to be chosen? (No shade) |

Ness can you tell which one here is guilty and needs punishing?

Judge: Will the jury foreperson please stand? Has the jury reached a unanimous verdict?
Vanessa: Yes. The jury finds the defendant soooo funny :flutter: :joker: |

If the accused are all that hot then I'm in trouble :joker:

Also remember Ness that if they look foreign then they will be guilty
:suspect: |

I loved every minute of my 2 weeks...
About a year after I was requested for jury service at the old Bailey but I was pregnant and couldn't do it...I was gutted. You will love it Vanessa...but find them not guilty just because they are hot...it doesn't work that way  |

I've done jury service and it really isn't anything to worry about. I was there for the whole two weeks and sat on the jury for 3 cases, all lasting for 2-3 days each. It was so interesting to see how a court works and to follow the details of the cases. I really enjoyed it.
The majority of cases are pretty short so it's unlikely that you will be there for longer than 2 weeks, and as others have said, you might not get called at all. You will know by about 10-11am each day whether you have been called and, if you are not, you can go home or return to work if you want to. However, there is no need to go into work if you are sent home as either way, you will definitely be paid, even if you should be required to be there longer than 2 weeks - your employer cannot sack you if that happens to be the case. No need to worry about any of these things, and I'm sure you will enjoy it when the time comes. |

Guilty!

I've never done it before and personally I wouldn't want to.
If I'm not mistaken though you do get into quite a bit of trouble if you are found out to have skipped jury duty and aren't really sick. Personally I think that the best system for jury duty would be to have people volunteer themselves forward rather than forcing people into doing it that would rather be anywhere else. |
...I think Oprah has served on jury, Vanessa...you’re the new and our very own Oprah, is what you are, Vanessa.....(..and you’ll be fine, you’ll love the experience..)...
