So was Helen Wood. Did that make her less of a twat? No.

Big Brother's the only show on TV that rewards arsehole behaviour.

Nope, just Piers giggling away at the comments that apparently made people walk out. You just heard the audience laughing in the background as well, no obvious disruption

Maybe they forgot to pick the kids up, or needed the loo?

MTVN 10-03-2018 10:31 PM

I don't actually remember Jim doing anything that bad in CBB though? I thought his popularity was driven by the fact that people expected a bigoted, intolerant asshole and instead found quite a calm, personable and entertaining character.

I don't remember that much from that series though tbf

Marsh. 10-03-2018 10:35 PM

I don't remember much in the way of bigotry. But he was a vile old man.

MTVN 10-03-2018 10:40 PM

Dappy appeared very briefly described as a 'friend' of Jim lol

Northern Monkey 10-03-2018 11:38 PM

Maybe these 6 people all ate at the same curry house before they went in

All had the squits at the same time.

Same here tbh.

To go off-topic for a second (but still relevant to your post) I don't get how Chris Fountain can't get a big acting gig anymore after his Rap about rape, yet Jim Davidson can get stints on Reality Shows and Chat Shows despite the fact that he was a violent alcoholic to his Wife? To me the latter is far worse than the former.

Yes, you need to be practically perfect to point out Davidson's flaws. Good one Kaz.

We all have flaws, well some of us can admit to having them, there is no excuse for him hitting anyone but at the same token there is no excuse for her to hit him,but is that ok because she is a woman ? they had a volatile relationship, not helped by his drink, but lets get both sides here.

Babayaro. 11-03-2018 08:08 AM

This was good

I'm confused what you're preaching?

"Dont pull apart Jim cos nobody is prefect themselves, also, here's some negative things about his wife."

Withano 11-03-2018 09:08 AM

I wasnt actually aware of his domestic violence history, was that before or after cbb?

Cal. 11-03-2018 09:13 AM

I really liked this lmao.

Before. I remember taking major issue with how several people thought he was this "great guy" on CBB when in my opinion he should never have been allowed on in the first place. The argument was that he's somehow now "a changed man" and it was "all the drink", the latter of which is a BS excuse used by far too many people who get physically abusive while drunk. "It's not me! It's the alcohol!!". No sir, it IS you, you're just worse at controlling your violence when drunk. He isn't changed at all either, he still quite blatantly has alcohol issues and he was passive-aggressive throughout the show and quite often looked like a balloon ready to pop... I very much doubt he would have remained so "calm" if there weren't dozens of cameras pointed at him.

Nobody said it was ok for her to hit him? It doesn’t suddenly make him an “ok” person or defend his actions. Guy’s a tosser.
