Yeah I understand it is a standard procedure, I don't think he was ever going to come, I can't say I blame him

Meghan Markle Isn't fit to become Royalty, Britain should be ashamed of itself

Good thing that royalty means diddly squat anymore.

This is how some of my in-laws must have felt when I joined the family out of no where... "Who is she??".

To be fair, they treated my husband like mud too. Was kind of weird how some of his siblings felt so territorial over him, but they never really socialized with him... (edit) I'm reminded of that because that's how the royal fever feels to me... like people are so territorial over a man they don't truly know.

I think Harry can marry whoever he wants... they would probably crow less though if he were to have an extramarital affair... "oh he's a royal... just like his dad"... because that's to be expected. There's that sexism as well. Isn't that what used to happen though? It wouldn't have been a big deal in the ye olde times for the husband to have just kept a long-term mistress on the side, while married to actual royal material that kept the family line following royal canon. Now, not only is it harder to keep most women happy with that kind of arrangement (because individualism and women's rights)... but with cameras and such, kind of difficult for any of them to keep a mistress.. a serious one anyway.

Celebrity sucks balls.

+1 Alf

Mehgan certainly wouldn't have been allowed in the club 30 or 40 years ago,and Diana was largely responsible for bringing about the change. So it's only fitting that her son should be the one to drive the point home.

Been replaced by pointless ‘celebs’. Diddly squat still has its fans.

This is on my door step, park and walk car parks will be open at 4 am, KFC doing promo buckets to mark the day and the manager said there will be a long que at the door when they open at 11.

Peaceful protests against the wedding will be aloud.

Will boost ecomy by 200 million

I applaud Harry for marrying the girl he loves rather than some daughter of a duke or whatever, the pomp around it and the cost to the taxpayer sticks in my craw a bit, but hopefully it will be that much of a circus it'll generate a bit of wonga ... who knows?

Is it? I can't say I have noticed and it doesn't seem to have put off the Royalists at Windsor

bots 18-05-2018 08:50 AM

if people enjoy that type of stuff, good on them, and having an American in the royal family will do wonders for tourism.

Its not my thing, never has been, so i will stick to netflix and the FA cup
