Feel bad for Benitez having to struggle to make signings of £9m... I love Newcastle as a club but they are pretty desperate times around there for the past five years (perhaps longer). With such a major city as well, I don't understand how some foreign consortium hasn't stepped in. Huge stadium already there, huge fan following, quite a proud history and quite a lot of potential (especially with everything being cheaper for development up north than it is in London). Crazy.
