We all start off as Asexual and then most of us tend to develop our sexuality around 13 or 14.

Conscious sexuality yes (i.e. sexuality with an awareness of what the feelings are) yes. Subconscious "proto-sexuality", i.e. feelings of sexual attraction or "crushes" start as early as 7. A lot of people are sort of uncomfortable with that but it is what it is :joker:. Kids might mention that they "feel funny" when they see a celebrity or get shy / embarrassed if you talk about someone they like... that's the beginnings of sexuality, just on a subconscious level.

I remember having a crush very early on in life, way before 13/14. I am not sure exactly how old I was but maybe 8ish. I was very attracted to them, and it was odd to me as I had never felt that before (which is maybe why it sticks in my mind so much, how much the feelings confused me). I often wonder what it would be like to meet him again, would I even recognize him? Would the feelings still be there? Its weird.

I love a little sexism in the morning. It reminds me we have a way to go yet.
