Knew Croatia would edge it but had no idea it would be that easy...

OnikaChrist 21-06-2018 07:56 PM

I'm sorry but Argentina's coach is dumb as FUUCCCK!!!

I'm still screaming at him subbing off Aguero at the 50th minute LMAOOOOO

Goodbye at Mercado and that planned trip

Agree but still the commentators there go on about how 'sad' it is to see him frustrated and that he's just surrounded by players not at his level as if he's absolved from any responsibility, his performances have also been consistently well under par at international level

That was a major mess.

Finally an exciting game with a surprising result!

Caballero :conf: Argentina's defence :conf:

Maradona is a God in Naples, 2 Serie A titles with a not so fashionable club like Napoli isn't to be sniffed at, at a time when Serie A was the top league in the World.

Mystic Mock 21-06-2018 08:11 PM

Argentina have joined Germany and Poland in the shock defeat camp.

Argentina managed to make Saudi Arabia against Russia seem semi-credible after that first goal.

I see the point you make but I dont think its stacks up against over 500 goals for one club. Personally I think Messi at Barca is better than Maradona anywhere but it is surely international level we are discussing and I would argue there is no comparison; Messi doesnt look interested half the time

Its also quite insulting to Aguero and Mascarano to say they are no where near Messi's level IMO

It seemed like to me that the Argentina team was trying to get their Manager sacked tonight, and players like Messi being above the Manager unofficially at the team is probably not helping matters.

Imo Messi didn't look like he was gonna score even if the game was carried over to the next day, but because of his brand name, they wouldn't take him off which was a costly move imo.

Brother Leon 21-06-2018 08:24 PM

No sympathy for Messi. The supposed GOAT should lead Aguero,Di Maria,Dybala and Higuain to a World Cup. Never mind a first round exit.

Give CR7 that squad and he wins the lot. Don’t @ me.

bots 21-06-2018 08:25 PM

it's clear that all is not well with the players or the manager. They just never played as a team. I just hope iceland can get a result tomorrow, they deserve to be in the next phase

Taking all the stats and honours away and just purely based of football ability, Maradona is better.

Calderyon 21-06-2018 08:29 PM

Croatia beats Argentina 3-0 and are through to the knockout round. Wow.

Argentina now has a must win game against Nigeria. And that might still not be enough considering Nigeria and Iceland are yet to play their match between them.

JerseyWins 21-06-2018 11:12 PM

I really wish I could've watched that game but I'm still HYPE about this Croatia win :clap1:

Nicky91 22-06-2018 07:05 AM

michael21 22-06-2018 08:03 AM

Nicky91 22-06-2018 08:06 AM
