Also it could have been sick or injured.

It's a horrible story, even if dead why would they integrate it I to the road? Must be mentally challenged.

Hate this. How nasty and so low.

Heartbreaking

Wanting to go viral or something, no doubt.

Selfies with dead things are all the rage these days, fast track to being a z-leb.

Really doubt they actually cared about the dog. But again, this is pretty usual, look at that guy not long ago who was taking selfies with some woman who had been hit by a train :umm2:

I may be looked down upon for saying that but people who show such disregard for an innocent animal do not deserve life.

No, they don't.

Whether they killed the dog or not, they showed complete disregard for the animal by not even bothering to move them, or give them a decent resting place. Again, I'm not at all surprised.

Same... but it's not like these cases don't happen. Sadly. I was following a rescue on social medi where a dog that was shot up with a BB gun was tossed into a storm drain... they got it to the ER and put up a fund for them, but it died unfortunately.

There's a lot of stories like this that do not make the news at all. Just too many of them... like never put up a dog for free on social media, it can be picked up and put into a dog fighting ring. There are some that pick them up and then brag to the person who gave them the free dog what they were actually intending the whole time...

There was something going around that I saw, I'm not sure if it made 'TiBB news' or not... But there's an ever-growing group of people who buy pitbulls from animal shelters and murder them. And according to them, they are "doing a good deed". It's absurd.

That is horrible, but not surprising. We have a high stray pop, year-round mating season, and we put down about 70K a year (officially)... as horrible as that is, at least they are being taken off the street and not abused in such a manner. They are given a humane death. Recently, though, they opened a transport shelter so they could start to send them up north... where there is a shortage there.

My uncle helped supervise at the SPCA and he said there were times he put down 60/day. It made him leave that field altogether.

I only have my two, and I wish I could fit more, but there are so many that need loving homes... I do what I can by donating items/$$, but it will never feel like enough. On the up side, we have a large rescue community.

It's unbearable to think about it. Are the construction workers going to be punished?
