That's modern football in a nutshell.

If it's entertainment you're after in sport, then Rugby League is the fellow for you.

Ramsay 28-06-2018 07:31 PM

Yeah rashford definitely missed that on purpose a few mins ago

Calderyon 28-06-2018 07:41 PM

That free kick would have definitely gone in if the goal was 2 meters higher.

Jack_ 28-06-2018 07:43 PM

Watch us lose to Colombia now

If only Japan had bloody won earlier there wouldn't even be this dilemma

bots 28-06-2018 07:45 PM

in the next game wellbeck is going to learn where the goal posts are located

Northern Monkey 28-06-2018 07:48 PM

Oh well Columbia here we come

You don't fear Colombia do yeh? Is all their good for is cocaine.

Calderyon 28-06-2018 07:53 PM

England are so lucky they have Kane.

Alf 28-06-2018 07:55 PM

Worked out well then?

No complaints from me on tonights game, best team won on the night. But it gives you no indication of the future, because it'll be a different bunch of players next game.

Shaun 28-06-2018 07:56 PM

And now we play Colombia with doubts. Great.

Vladimir 28-06-2018 07:58 PM

At least the goal was really nice :wavey:

Good luck to both teams in the knockouts!

If we've got doubts against Colombia, then we should have stayed at home.

Brother Leon 28-06-2018 08:20 PM

It is what it is. Colombia without James possibly and then Sweden/Swiss to reach a ****ing World Cup Semi Final...

Jack_ 28-06-2018 08:25 PM

It's a big gamble, hope it pays off

You tell me, I've heard they're better but haven't played as well...I'm the rookie here

They’re a good team, but it could always be worse.

If James is really injured for the game then it’s a huge advantage to us.

Every great team needs a star player.

Tbh though I do think that we're starting to reach above our level now, teams like Belgium and Colombia play too expansive compared to our team, I like Southgate and I do believe that he has done a good job with the team, but it does have limits that not even him or Kane can stop.

Vanessa 28-06-2018 08:44 PM

We will need all our best players for the next match.

What do you mean England rested most of the Frist team so there be freash and Colombia play need to win today

England will win

Alf 28-06-2018 08:52 PM

As an Evertonian, I'd like to say I'm confident in Pickford, but I'm not. I'd seriously be more confident if Joe Hart was there. That could be our weak link.

MTVN 28-06-2018 09:06 PM

Well I'm hacked off with that, very poor

A strategic withdrawal from Southgate, just like Churchill at Dunkirk.
