For what it's worth... I'm happy that England got through in the end, they DO deserve to be in the 1/4 finals...

...but the idea of all of the sunburnt :omgno: faces in pubs up and down England when it went 1-1 at the last minute, AND all of the poopy pants when they went a goal down in penalties...

It just IS funny :joker:.

English fans are just passionate about the team,I for one love to see them all cheering and happy, if we don't get through they will get over it as they are used to it,so how much better for them IF they win,I would love that for all the fans.

England never make it easy.

I think we have overly high expectations for the team. We’re not a top tier elite team like Brazil or France. We just think we should be cos we have the premiership. It’s always a scrappy battle for us.Our hopes and dreams usually lead to disappointment.

I never knew black or Asian people could sunburn...who knew, the idea that all English football fans are white...stereotyping much

Vicky. 04-07-2018 03:27 PM

Of course black and Asian people can sunburn :suspect:

Not Cherie spreading race-myths whilst accusing other people of stereotyping :omgno:.

They do have skin, you know, Cherie :nono:

Surely the clue should be in the fact that very few of the top Premiership players are actually from England :p.

They won’t show sunburn though, look at poor Alex on LI he is like a beetroot

Vicky. 04-07-2018 03:55 PM

LOL Alex is not handling the sun at all :D

But yeah, black people do get red sunburn...not sure about Asian people as I don't know any, but I assume they do too. Have seen some really really nasty looking sunburn on black friends, like...it looks darker red obviously, but its still burn. Its also quite obvious, which you wouldn't expect.

Northern Monkey 04-07-2018 04:50 PM

Alex doesn’t handle the sun well and is usually fairly red.But has anyone noticed that when he’s talking to a girl he’s at his redest,Like super red?

I think he gets a little bit shy when he’s talking to the ladies in a ‘romantic’ way and blushes but he’s cleverly disguised it with sunburn.

Northern Monkey 04-07-2018 04:58 PM

This thread is awesome btw.
It’s gone from the SNP to a Scotland v England slanging match to Englands world cup chances to whether black people can get sunburn to Love Island

:joker:

I love it when threads go like this ,fitting a few topics into one:laugh:

Crimson Dynamo 04-07-2018 05:12 PM

The question is do sunburned British Asians support England?

:suspect:

Kizzy 04-07-2018 05:55 PM

Do your job... I don't see the issue. If there was an mp late for lunch because the cab driver stopped to watch the footy they'd be moaning :/

The SNP are probs the most patriotic party in the UK! Difference is, they stan an actual good country!

They played a major part in its evolution. I believe they were the first to pass the ball and maybe the first to head the ball. But I don't think they invented football, unless you know something different?
