You have! I remember...

I voted leave. If Parliament votes against the deal, I would be for having another referendum. Maybe all the people who moaned but didn't vote might be encouraged to do so this time. Maybe this time there will be some information out there that's easily accessible.

Tom4784 10-07-2018 01:36 PM

Another vote would be pointless. People voted to leave and they voted for a remainer-led government to lead negotiations. If they dislike the idea of a soft brexit then they only have themselves to blame.

Alf 10-07-2018 02:25 PM

I'd rather have a civil war than another vote.

Why not?

If we have another vote and leave wins again, they still won't accept it and would want another. They'll keep having a vote until they get their own way, we knew and said this would happen.

You either be slaves to these tyrants or stand up and fight for your freedom.

Handful.

He still has to become UKIP leader , though

back in 2016
UKIP had a couple of Conservative MP's
and he was due to get a few more
then PM David Cameron
went Live at the Bloomberg Studio
announcing a simple In or Out
Referendum.
That halted any more moving to UKIP.

David took a Gamble
but LOST

EU are not tyrants :nono: You know very well, Alf, that it's a very interdependent world whichever way you turn. Signing free trade agreements with big economies won't be pretty either. Trump, China, India etc will extract all sorts of concessions, it won't be easy or pretty.

Agreed, the country is pretty evenly split on the EU. Whichever way it goes it won't be "resolved". I'd say a soft brexit is the best compromise, but you leavers are not keen on compromise, are you

You are aware
the EU will not allow this new plan.
No Pick and Mix.
FACT

Thats why Nigel Farage MEP
is trying to be the leader of UKIP again.

Soft Brexit just means we keep everything the same as before only this time we don't have a voice at the table.

We will be raped.

EU is pragmatic, I'm positive an agreement could be reached

failing that a new referendum could ask: do you want 1/no brexit 2/ soft brexit and 3/hard brexit
let people decide :hee:

Crimson Dynamo 10-07-2018 04:04 PM

i think the new ref should be

1. Do you want to leave the EU even tho you cant?

2. Do you want to stay in the EU coz its too hard to leave and tbh you dont really know what it is but lets just keep in it :worry:

3. I agree Scotland should be independent of fckdup England and the sh1tstorm that is London and its politics

Maybe they should not take a Holiday

Until any agreement is reached.

Clock Ticking etc.
