One of the most unjust results ever

United, Spurs, Ajax and (probably) Porto. Not exactly the elite competition it claims to be is it :idc:

Leave poor Porto alone.:nono::joker:

Tbh it's good to have a shakeup I think as the Champions League had gone stale imo.

yeah well, it is easy to get far in champions league with your 300 to 500 million transfer budgets

btw Croatia has 2 CL tickets for next year due to dinamo Zagreb having that first match win over Benfica, tonight is return match for them

2 CL, 2 EL :dance2: Forza Hrvatska Croatia with not much budget but still doing well in european competitions

Quarter-finals
Ajax v Juventus
Liverpool v Porto
Tottenham v Manchester City
Barcelona v Manchester United

Semi-finals
Tottenham/Manchester City v Ajax/Juventus
Barcelona/Manchester United v Liverpool/Porto

....

The quarter-final first legs take place on 9 April and 10 April. The semi-finals start on 30 April and 1 May.

City and United were both drawn way in the first leg of their ties, but they are not allowed to play at home on the same day or even consecutive nights.

Therefore, as United finished lower in the Premier League last season, their first leg will now be at Old Trafford, with the second leg at the Nou Camp.

The Champions League final takes place on 1 June at Madrid's 68,000-capacity Wanda Metropolitano, home of Atletico Madrid.

.....

Premier League leaders Manchester City will face Spurs three times in 11 days.
Their quarter-final first-leg will likely be one of Spurs' first games at their new stadium on 9/10 April, before the return leg on 16/17 April and then their Premier League encounter at Etihad Stadium on 20 April.
From BBC Sport.

Shaun 15-03-2019 11:44 AM

And in the much more prestigious Europa League, the semi finals will be:

Chelsea/Slavia Prague vs. Benfica/Frankfurt
Arsenal/Napoli vs. Villareal/Valencia

so yes we are quite buggered. Relatively easy route to the final for Chelsea, mind.

Nicky91 15-03-2019 01:53 PM

sad for dinamo Zagreb but they have come far and won some important points for Croatia :clap1:

Brother Leon 15-03-2019 05:31 PM

Of course Liverpool and City get piss easy draws.

Can’t see past a Pep v Barca Final.

bots 15-03-2019 05:34 PM

Barcelona aren't the team they were thankfully

I wouldn't call it piss easy for Liverppol they had a hard group and a hard round of 16 they deserved a bit of luck

Liverpool’s luck is mostly for their run to the final last year more than anything tbh.

City have had some unreal luck this year though. Quadruple very much on for them D:D:

I like VAR as it stops unfair results from happening.

I hope that the English Leagues get it soon so we can see who can cope without the Referee's support in nearly every game.

The only Forum where I'd see someone describe a top 6 Premier League team as a “piss easy” team.:joker:

Nicky91 17-03-2019 11:05 AM

english teams only have luck with their 500 million transfer budgets, without that and lesser players they would be nowhere :fan:

i more have respect for those who have lesser budgets but still do well in europe Dinamo Zagreb, Bate Borisov, Fc Porto, Slavia Prague
