I’m just glad they are sticking to a consistent method. The nominations have been messy for the last few years and it’s nice to have some order.

i thought it had been longer than 5 years

Head to head has already given us 1 fantastic result this series

Even if my favourite was evicted, I much prefer this format.

:love::love::love: Yes

The best part is if it stays this consistent, it gives them something to "strategize" around... I think it forces people to step up their game... versus BB doing pretty much whatever it pleases so idgaf

Not a fan

That was down to the cast being pretty amazing though. The series before that (BB12) also had the 2 or more up rule and that was one of the worst series ever (which is proof that the voting format doesn't even matter if casting get the housemates perfect - but they so rarely do these days which is why the format needs to be adjusted slightly to keep the good ones in)

This. The format is part of the reason I love watching the show and watching the show get messier and messier just turns me off.

Whether you like or dislike the evictees you can't deny it's made for very predictable eviction nights. The 2nd eviction hasn't even happened yet and yet we're all talking about is as a foregone conclusion because it's just so obviously predictable :joker:

Nobody knew how the 1st one would go

I liked bb12 and would sooner rewatch that that 15 or 17

Jordan. 27-08-2018 10:00 PM

Chloe going would have been predicatable with everyone up

Maybe so, but it would've been less predictable than this

I agree with Jack_ tho that none of this debate matters if they're gonna use VTE for civilian anyway, I don't know why I'm spending so much time on this especially since civilian is the one I actually care about

Headie 27-08-2018 10:06 PM

Now I know how Nicky felt when BB asked ha "why are you so hett up Nicky?" because I genuinely don't know why I'm so bothered

That's why I'm dreading civilian now, they can make all of these amazing changes but keep VTE and add head to heads, and it's going to be a car crash that undoes it all

Jodie. 27-08-2018 10:16 PM

VTS: Should be 2 noms and you’re up

VTE: 2 or more HM with most votes

That’s what I THINK Xx

I'm confused as I remember 1v1's being a thing in BB13.

Benedict vs Lauren
Lauren v Luke A

are from my recollection

Garfie 27-08-2018 10:25 PM

To me, the most important thing is consistency, as that way those voting don't feel as if a result is being manipulated, which stops me voting.

Having said that, I do feel head to head evictions can be predictable and can mean we lose bigger characters too early.

I personally think some consistent system that meant the 3 most nominated were up would be the best.

Withano 27-08-2018 10:30 PM

This is the best way for sure. Its still possible for there to be lots of nominees.
