If they want to cause over the top drama and arguments then that's their choice. They're not being told how to act, they're doing it on their own accord, which is exactly what the show is ALL about, actually. It's NOT up to the public to influence their actions, which is exactly what crowd chants are direct attempts to do. Wanting the housemates to hear outside opinion goes against the purpose of the show.

I'm all for hms creating drama but not at the expense of someone's character and reputation. I personally think BB dropped a bollock by giving it credence and formal warnings and have redressed the balance by allowing them to hear the crowd. Roxanne has spent 24+ tarnishing Ryan's reputation amongst hms (and for all she knew the public and future employers etc) by massively exaggerating the incident, she told the "lads" who seriously could have reacted aggressively towards the supposed perpetrator etc etc. Ryan or any other hm do NOT sign up to be judged on other HMs behaviour, only their own

Exactly!
When it comes to domestic violence and physical contact YOU don't lie or joke about that !. And when you're prepared to destroy someone for your own agenda then that's disgusting and immoral ! and she'll be judged.

Roxanne will face a massive backlash and this is sweet justice, by looks of it she has a reputation for spouting nasty lies amongst those know know her :suspect: this bitch is exposed! .

If she's as desperate for the cash as we think she is, she won't be going anywhere, otherwise she would've bolted for the back exit as soon as Ben went. She's probably working out how to get back in with the others until her eviction. (therefore receiving her money).

I thought you were deliberately getting his name wrong as a joke as he was so irrelevant & annoying :joker: .

 No, just tired, but I agree, he was awful...I don't understand why the Hm's thought the viewers would love him. He's fake and annoying...and hardly an oil painting. I'm pleased his gone.

The latest I heard was that she left Bear Grylls Celebrity Island after a few days because the bonfires reminded her of when she and her family were caught in a serious house fire.

With all her issues, she really should not be in extreme media programmers which test her mentally. She is obviously not behaving how she should on CBB and one has to question the psychological tests she went through before being accepted.

As other people have pointed out there's been tons of housemates with mental issues and weird behaviour yet they've still been allowed on the show . The psych test is BS i doubt it exists , or if it's a proper one it's all about ratings :bored: .

Roxanne is the definition of fame who re ! she craves attention and airtime and now at the expense of Ryan !!! . She's gone too far !! :nono:. People already disliked her for her fakery and showmance with Ben and now they're appalled with her vile antics! .

More needs to be done to stop housemates walking/changing behaviour because of some stupid mob shouting loud enough

Jack_ 01-09-2018 12:59 PM

It's too late now but they should really scrap the crowd and build an indoor studio (a la BBUS/Can) that connects to the house and have an audience

With strict rules about remaining silent

poppsywoppsy 01-09-2018 01:18 PM

In previous series, the housemates always used to wait for the chants, cheers and boos to let them gage their popularity or not.

It didn't seem to make that much difference sometimes as it was not the crowd who voted.

This was a different eviction though. This crowd was telling Roxanne and Ryan of the displeasure Roxanne was causing the viewing public.

Roxanne was a coward so she walked, she knew her game was up and couldn't face the consequences of her actions. I do not blame the crowd in this instance as Roxanne would never have come out of the house unless she looked as good as she possibly could,

RIP no outside contact :( Was fun while it lasted!

I wonder who will start the first fight with Roxy now that they know she's not liked (Nick has already snapped at her by the sounds of it and everyone is in the garden bitching about her whilst she's alone in the store room). Shame we don't get to see their natural behaviour now.

Isn't that natural behaviour?

Many housemates have heard chants to get them out over the years, most don't walk, Roxy did because she knew the game was up and she didn't want to come out to the crowd or the interview.

Originally Big Brother started off with studio announcements and no crowd noise into the house. It was only a few series later they started doing it, and even then the crowds would never chant "GET __ OUT" when the host was talking to the house because they knew it affected the integrity of social isolation. It's only really since the show moved to C5 that 'GET ___ OUT' chants became a regular everyone eviction episode and was a way for crowds to influence what happens in the house. That's not what Big Brother is about and you can tell producers have realised that, hence the studio announcements. Look how shocked everyone was when Natalie went - they had no idea she was hated because they couldn't hear crowd noise.

Nope, natural justice taking it's course would've been Roxy being evicted on Monday having no clue how hated she was by the public. Instead she caught wind of being disliked due to the crowd outside ruining it for all us viewers.

Well if you put it like that so is voting.... hearing the crowd has been part of the experience for years, it messes with peoples heads or they get big headed depending on the chants

Before the eviction, they couldn't hear anything they could hear it once she was gone, we know this because when Chloe left they could hear the cheers, the reason they heard last night is that they were gathered in a different room, Dan was able to hold the door to the stairs open, they should have had them sat in the other room where they normally sit but I guess due to getting them in and out of the DR to make their noms they couldn't do this
