At least it's consistent I suppose.

Even Tuesdays? Cos that was supposed to be 10:15 i'm sure

annabelindabee 05-09-2018 06:32 PM

I feel worse for Bbots though as that 11-12... people will be too triers to watch that

Elliot 05-09-2018 06:47 PM

Good hope bots gets cancelled so we don’t have to see Rylan again

Eeewwwww!

This sounds like a desperate cash twist before the shows even started so much for them returning to the old format which has saved this series of CBB!

There is no reason to put this show on at 10pm other than the channel not wanting it to succeed..FACT.

Endemol need to give it to someone else this is such a pisstake.

I mean the whole show's getting cancelled altogether so I don't think you have to worry about that to be quite honest!

Imagine thinking people with jobs and classes to go to are gonna stay up til 11/11.30 every night to watch a dying show :joker: Let alone BOTS being on for an hour after :joker::joker:

You do realise that this series of civilian BB is airing from September to November and not in the summer where a younger audience are not in school or college and therefor the ratings will be below that of a summer series.

Also evictions should always air at 9 till 10:30 and for them to schedule the Sunday show as a 90 minute highlights that finishes at 11:30pm is ridiculous.

Are you actually saying this schedule is anything other than crap and suggesting they have an alternative show which is going to air nightly in primetime which will garner more ratings?

Thank god the new ratings system kicks in in September.

Tbf recent Channel 5 series have been start of June to end of July.

School holidays start no earlier than 20th July.

I think Sunday 10pm-11.30pm is single-handedly the worst scheduling I've ever seen on TV :o

OH yes... that's why I keep getting to sleep after 1 am.. cause bots is 11-12 then I spend 90 mins watching Easterners and family guy

Actually 10 is best for me as I usallay get work between 6-10... and I find the one hour gap between cbb and bbots so wired.. they should be together! not spaced out...

Ok Im from the US, so you guys can educate me if im wrong, but it seems to me as if in the uk most hit/high profile programming is scheduled at 9 at the latest, ends by ten, and that 10 pm shows are usually weaker . Could this all-at-ten move on the part of 5 be to avoid clashes with shows that are stronger? For example, maybe they want to avoid clashing with x factor and other big shows on sundays. The competition during summer is markedly weaker so given its a fall series avoiding stonger competition could be a good move. Certainly the audience share percentage, which is a key ratings measurement along with total viewers, will be higher for them in the 10pm slot. Avoiding competition has already paid off when they did it to avoid love island this year as CBB ratings have been growing throughout the series, and are significantly stronger than last years.

Plus, its also nice that BB is consistently on at the same time every night rather than being bounced around as ive seen them do in the past.

I agree Ch 5 have a lot to be desired but i dont think they are actively trying to sabotage the show success with this scheduling as some have suggested.

I agree here actually, a later Sunday show would avoid X Factor. At the minute it's only 8-9 on Sundays though but further into the series the episodes will be longer. 10 isn't too bad imo as it's always been 10 for civilian. I just don't like how evictions won't be entirely live

Is Blood Money a live show or just the events from the house on Tuesday?
