Like you say it was almost showing off, along with sheer stubbornness and almost a sense of entitlement - that he is somehow above rules and can do what he wants with no consequence. I think this was a response to getting the killer nomination and being unable to do anything about it.

I don't know why he has the idea that as he has just a few coins there will be no repercussions. His actions lacked forethought in my opinion, as the removal of food is going to antagonise housemates and cause conflict which he will no doubt react badly to, just before he faces eviction.

Good, just think how it will be for the viewers watching the fall out when they are on basic rations and no electricity.

Or would you prefer it all nicey, nicey, with Brooke braiding her hair and make up tutorials. Hussain and Isabella playing catch around the table, Akeem constantly telling that he is a nice bloke and Sian being her usual boring self filing her nails.

It would be totally out of character for Akeem to do that and you know it..thats why it would get talked about maybe.
Lewis is very random...what he did didn't surprise me in the least.

Akeems dramatic row in the pool with Lewis happened the night before eviction..but nobody jumped on here accusing him of last minute airtime...because it was immaculate timing for the quiet reserved gameplayer..still that's another subject.

I'm not here to defend Akeem, I don't like him that much, I do however disagree with you and think it was very out of character of Lewis to do anything fun :hee:

so is that your reasons for doing it with lewis then?

But you used Akeem as an example and l made a valid point. As for Lewis if anyone saw that behaviour as uncharacteristic then you haven't been watching.

But I get your sarcasm..:)

Yes I did but that doesn't mean I would think he wasn't acting up for the cameras, if you get what i mean?

BIB : I have actually been watching, every show in fact :p

It's a grand mystery why some just target one to hate and never champion their own fave.

I think you misunderstood what I was saying. I can't wait for the fall out and will enjoy watching it. My point was that Lewis hadn't thought of the consequences and that might be to his detriment if it all kicks off directly before he faces eviction.

I detect a hint of sarcasm in your second paragraph which is slightly disappointing.

If everyone had second thoughts before doing things, you would get a house full of whom I wrote about in the second paragraph.

Perception of intentions can be different on written posts.

In a word: Airtime.

Lewis has been at the frontline of most of the main storylines of the series. What do you want people to discuss, the decor?

I think you might still be missing the point I'm trying to make.

I'm actually glad he didn't have second thoughts as I would much prefer to watch the fall out than the things you described in the second paragraph.

What I'm trying to say is that, if it creates conflict, it might not have been the best thing for Lewis to have done for himself (rather than the viewer) with an eviction looming.

It really doesn't matter as Lewis is up every week apart from the Game Changer so why should he bother?

His view is that if he is nominated on a weekly basis, why should he bother about their wellbeing.

Aaliyah 16-10-2018 12:22 PM

He’s been boring all series. He’s doing this as a pathetic attempt to look interesting. He talks like he’s educated but works in a bar for a living, is boring as hell, his teeth are wonky and chipped. Voting him to go 50 times on my nans phone

If he hadn't defied BB warning him I would see your point but what I take issue with is his disregard for rules and general attitude.

the fact that he was doing it purposely because he has no coins and couldn't be punished as well, I was disappointed they didn't stop him from nominating but then I guess they wouldn't have to the right people up

Well I know you do and I love your posts..well not all of them ...But lets face it not many of them do have much fun in there. Lewis has been seen having fun with the others..and he has messed around with Brooke a lot. I don't think he was acting up because its not out of character to do something like that...but because it was after his nomination people will come to that conclusion. If anything it was more about the fact he was showing people he doesn't give a ****..because he really isn't that bothered...that's not to say he doesn't want to win..he knew he would be up and the fact that he cant save himself really doesnt bother him that much..thats my opinion.

I mean it was obviously dangerous and he should've listened but it's his safety and his life, it's not for me to care about really

Rule breaking can be a good trait in housemates too, I'd rather that than them toeing the line the whole time
