I think the outrage is more to do with the blatant attempt at rigging so whether or not they change the vote they still tried it. Also is there anything else worth talking about with BB all I've seen is the same tired lewis and cameron v X threads....

Anyways in regards to switching off I already have and will come back again for her final send off in hopes of seeing Charley c

Honestly, the fact that everyone has jumped to assume this has been done to favour Lewis just shows how he's carried the series  we stan the best male HM

He's clearly been shown preferences though so why is it shocking to see people call blatent rigging out?

You only have to look at them basically stopping the plane task for him really.

Could you point me in the direction of the part of my post where I implied that please? That'd be helpful, thanks!

I would suggest stepping away from the TV in that case, you seem to be taking a television show a bit too seriously :)

umm the part where you said 'the public need saving from themselves' or whatever obnoxious statement it was

Can you explain how that is me thinking I 'have some superior knowledge about what the rest of us think we want'?

I posted an opinion in the context of a wider post about producer manipulation on reality shows as a whole, not just this one decision. What you choose to read into that is up to you

It's rather obvious. And thank you :)

No answer then? So you know you're wrong and can't respond, just as I thought :)

Anyway, for every "VTE kills off all the big characters!" post, I raise you Heaven getting evicted over ****ing Aden, Saira getting evicted in CBB, and Frency getting evicted in a nearly housewide VTS. Honestly, the end result between VTE and VTS aren't all that different. The only reason distinction is that with VTE you at least have the chance to kill off your godawful Marcqks before the finale.

We're obviously never going to agree on this but for me at least, while VTS is not foolproof by any means, as a general rule it's a much better safety net for the bigger characters! I *think* I did this last year but I could definitely make an exhaustive list of the amount of evictions where the wrong person has gone in a VTE, there is way less under VTS

Of course the buck always stops first and foremost with the public vote altogether anyway, but BBUK's format doesn't lend itself very well to successful nominee pools either

It's just that you want me to literally explain something sf obvious, I assume by grammatically breaking down the sentences and citing the dictionary, and I'm not going to waste my time on that.

Except it's not obvious - because as I've already pointed out, I said 'the public need saving from themselves' in the context of an entire post about producer manipulation on reality shows. I don't like public voting, I think production teams are well within reason to step in to prevent them from damaging a series, and that's my opinion. I don't need to qualify every post I make with 'IMO' or something similar, it's pretty self explanatory. At no point did I comment on what anyone else wants

saying 'the public need saving from themselves' literally suggests that you think you have some superior knowledge on what is best for everyone's enjoyment of the show, and you won't convince me otherwise

Tbh a public that got Scotty t, Stephanie, Darren day more votes to win than New York should never be trusted

No, it suggests that in my opinion (a key phrase that really isn't necessary), the public vote sucks and if the producers (of any reality show, again you're not paying attention to that) can step in to limit its impact for the benefit of the overall series then so be it. Nowhere in that have I passed judgement on what other people want. Others can think what they like, but obviously I think my opinion is right, it wouldn't be much of an opinion if I didn't believe it would it? I couldn't care less what you believe either way, as I said before you can read into it however you want, but you and I both know you're wrong

They saved tens of thousands from switching off from keeping it the same :clap1:

Sis tens of thousands have already switched off over the last few weeks, and I'd be willing to wager the dire eviction order has played a part in that
