It wasn't the fart she found funny, she thought it was a bigger noise but then it's the shock that it's not what she expected that made her laugh, and when you're in the jungle with little entertainment, the simpler things can make people laugh harder than they would in the real world

People tend to take offence whenever ethnicity is mentioned.

They all tend to go into the cabin and are asked to go into detail about a task/events in the camp that day. The producers then edit these snippets from the cabin throughout the episode as an almost running commentary on that days events. Really not Fleur's fault how hers are used.

Even then, I'd counter what you said with the fact she hasn't appeared anymore than anyone else.
