A touch of empathy would not go amiss tbh, try putting yourself in someone else's shoes for once. |
tbf to Anne, it was Rita that kept asking her about it and tbqh I found it educational, I don't know alot about autism/aspergers

ITV News in a major Anne promotion.
Winner already decided. |
It's barely been a few days give Ann a chance to settle in , i'm hoping she slays the trial :fc: :) .

As an uncle of two autistic nephews, I find her presence on the show and her frank discussions of her condition refreshingly honest, even though it is quite a common condition there’s still a lot that people don’t understand about it, it’s great to have someone out there in public allowing people to learn more about it.

Someone asked her Do you find Harry refreshing and honest for talking about nearly dying in a car crash or nearly killing his wife? No. Course you don't :idc: |
Why are people concerned whether she’s going to be pulling her weight? We’re not living with her, so who cares? :conf:
Same kind of nonsense we get on BB too |

Rather than being embarrassed or ashamed of talking about it. Non-physical disabilities have held a stigma for a long time that stopped people feeling comfortable to discuss them. |

It's absolutely not the same for the others ... Aspergers 'experience' life so differently to 'normal' folk.. An example is that if they suddenly announced tonight that the two were joining together and there would be a party to celebrate... everyone else would be deliriously happy and start dressing up an getting ready but I can almost guarantee that Anne would retreat back into her shell and start fretting about what the evening would be like .. plus whilst everyone else may be excitedly dancing around and be in good spirits ... Anne would be sat in a corner on the fringe of things and keeping out of the way .. It's what we do .. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Did you actually watch the show !? She said last night that she never mentions her Aspergers BUT if someone asks her about it she's happy to answer any questions. How much more accommodating can she be ?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

I hope she stays in the show a while and gets the chance to tell more stories about how Aspergers effects her in every day life .. Millions around the country watch it and many of my work colleagues...so from a selffish angle the more she explains to the others the more my fellow workers will understand my problems and issues ... thankfully I work some lovely , supportive people anyways though .
