Volunteer, do trials, get involved, be excited, have fun- I have absolutely no issue with any of that- but why the need to scream and screech all the time? That's just something I can't comprehend, and both Fleur and Emily would be much more likeable without it.

So what?...he is a successful man and as a result he happens to have entertained or be entertained by royalty. Many enjoy the stories...ok it's 'name dropping' but wouldn't everyone do the same?
I enjoy listening to him than hearing constant rapping etc but then some enjoy that.

Name dropping is. It's always the same story too, with a different famous name interchanged for the big "punchline" at the end. It's attention seeking pure and simple.

Why not concentrate on the campmates instead of other posters then?

when a group of middle aged women go out as a group, they would refer it as going out with the girls ... they wouldnt say, going out with the <insert age bracket here> women. Its a well used, common description that doesnt change as one gets older.
