Hmm i dunno, but i would say that

In fairness, after the first 10 mins, Arsenal the much better side, we're lucky it's 1-1 at HT.

Dunno why we insist on playing out from the back every single time. More times than not we just put ourselves under pressure!

Swan 01-08-2020 05:37 PM

Oh well that's that, Chelsea are ****ed now.

GiRTh 01-08-2020 05:58 PM

:dance::dance:

Swan 01-08-2020 06:01 PM

Chelsea with all the possession, but doing nothing with it, Arsenal look more dangerous, and losing our best player to injury it'll be a miracle if we pull this back.

GiRTh 01-08-2020 06:04 PM

Kovacic off

Swan 01-08-2020 06:04 PM

WOW lmao.

Swan 01-08-2020 06:05 PM

Yeah not Chelsea's day, when we get all our decent players back though we'll be challenging for the title.

Swan 01-08-2020 06:20 PM

Arsenal deserve the win, Chelsea turned up for about 10 mins. The sending off of Kovacic was bs, and losing Pulisic to injury was really unfortunate. But yeah best team on the day won.

A couple of defenders brought, and with our decent players coming back from injury, next season should mean a decent challenge at the PL title.

Happy with Lamps first season.

Swan 01-08-2020 06:23 PM

Dirty Arsenal wasting time as per though  Still, they need every edge they can get considering.

GiRTh 01-08-2020 06:35 PM

Never in doubt

AnnieK 01-08-2020 06:38 PM

They did, a bitter pill to swallow, but they were the much better team.

Luiz had a blinder keeping the, on fire, Giroud quiet. And as soon as Pulisic went off with that hamstring i knew the writing was on the wall.

As a neutral (and bitter red), I wanted Arsenal to win as Chelsea beat us...so good result for me

Sorry

Shaun 01-08-2020 06:53 PM

Now I get to pretend I didn't spend the past 45 minutes with my fingers crossed and praying for Bellerin to stop acting like an excited greyhound

Good final for the neutrals but god my hairline's probably receding now

Haha nah that's fair, i would have been the same. (possibly, never forget coming home from that 4-0 thrashing back in 94, my first match, covered in Chelsea blue, and crying my eyes out on the short journey home lol)

The sending off was very dubious and killed the game, whats the point in VAR if you are not going to use it for a game changer like that

Poor game for the ref overall

Congratulations to Oxford City last night on their win against Northampton.

With all due respect to any Oxford City fans on the Forum but they tend to live in Oxford United's shadow so it's nice to see that Oxford City are having a glorious moment.

Hopefully them and Solihull Moors will have a decent run in the FA Cup this year.

Mystic Mock 01-12-2020 07:17 AM

Oh yes! We've got one of the Big Six.

Super surprised Klopp put out the full first team against the Villa Toddlers, but maybe with 10 days till our next game he didn't want to keep them resting to long

Alf 08-01-2021 06:17 PM

Manchester City have players missing due to Covid, the game gets called off.

Aston Villa have players missing due to Covid, the game goes on.

Mystic Mock 08-01-2021 07:29 PM

The Villa kids are doing well here against Liverpool.

Begrudging respect.

I find that odd too.

Can't be bothered to do that, I'd get nowhere. I'll just give respect to the Aston Villa club for fulfilling their fixtures.
