I think you missed the point, dear. If YOU were in a long-term totally loving relationship with someone and then they went on Big Brother and claimed to be 100% single and up for anything. How would you feel? It's not the BB production team I feel sorry for.

If she had a common accent, I'd still think that Chanelle was in the right in that argument.

I don't dislike Emily for her accent. I find her annoying because she brags about all the money she has (been given), she claims she discovered a new type of music called Indie and brags about setting trends such as "wearing tight jeans" what a maverick.

But it's the LYING about not having a boyfriend that gets to me most. I just think that is really nasty of her and I feel sorry for the guy. (just do a search Emily+Big+Brother+boyfriend there's plenty of details on it and the guys full name, so it can all be checked out)

Oh and wanting a boyfriend like Pete Doherty... oh the shock, the horror. :dazzler:

Emily can consider herself very luck with the edit she got tonight, anyone watching the livefeed last night will know that.

After the argument for about 20 minutes Emily was ranting & raving slagging Chenelle off, trying to turn all the girls against her. She is very lucky none of that was shown.

In my opinion Emily came across terrible in tonights show, the whole way through, but it could have been alot worse.

Your other complaint is the fact "that she completely dismisses 2 years of a relationship to get onto Big Brother. Stinks of desperation."

In order for that to be true (and you seem to be really annoyed about it) it requires the following to be correct:

1. She actually has a boyfriend and the newspapers stories aren't coming from some idiot/ex-boyfriend/mate who is making a nice chunk of money out of this.

2. That she actually told BB that she was single, again we have no proof that was what she said although someone might be able to clarify what Davina said about her on launch night.

3. That this boyfriend was unaware that she was going into the Big Bro house. Some of the news articles I have read on this suggest that she had promised her alleged boyfriend (Alex i think his name is allegedly) that she won't be getting off with any other blokes. That suggests to me that they may have discussed her going into BB, so it's hardly like she is dismissing her alleged 2 year loving relationship!! He knew she was going on! She has agreed to not kiss anyone else, hardly throwing away her relationship. Of course, you're still left with the original problem of the source of all this information.

3. She would actually have to do something wrong in the house. So far she's said she won't be kissing any housemates. If she has a boyfriend, and even if he wasn't aware beforehand that she was going on BB, he's bound to be happy to hear that she doesn't intend throwing herself on the first man in the house who shows a bit of interest.

I still can't see why you're so upset at Emily for saying she was single to get on BB, especially when the information you base your opinion on is so dodgy!

I guess that this is once again a baseless attack on a housemate, over-reacting to a nothing incident in order to give people something to crticise her over. I liked Emily to start with (mainly cos she was hot!) but I've cooled to her as she has shown she can be a bit self-obsessed at times and for someone who claims 10/10 for intelligence I haven't seen it. But these kind of baseless and petty attacks are just pathetic. :bored:

Hardly pathetic... the newspapers show photos of emily together with her boyfriend just before she went on BB, and his Myspace has a message from Emily (dated also a few weeks before she went on the show) saying she loves him dearly - it can all be easily checked out, in the time it took you to type out all the above you could have done so and seen by now that I am right and you are wrong :)

His full name and details are all given (I wont give them here) There is a ton of evidence to show that this is not just made up. Believe me I am normally a skeptical person but Emily definatly 100% has a long term boyfriend outside. So, the problem here is she betrayed her "love" for him just to get fame. And that, my friend is not a very nice quality in a person; hence my main reason to dislike her.

I'm pretty sure in maybe a week's time they will have Alex on big brothers little brother or whatever giving his side. But whatever the outcome of that, she is still a nasty, desperate liar.

See, you have already made your mind up about her. SO, Emily's MySpace (complete with loving messages back and forth) was all created by a Hoaxer? and Alex's Myspace was all created by a hoaxer? and Emily's and Alex's "friends" are all stooges who have already testified about the relationship in detail. And the recent photo's of the couple together, kissing were just an eloborate photo-shop mock-up, yes?

I'd understand if all we had was a NAMELESS person who didnt want to be identified claiming to be Emily's boyfriend, but this is not the case. We already have all the evidence, just go look at it. LOL it's not that hard.

Exactly, and now you can twist the facts to suit your already formed opinion about her. And again, where is this betraying a relationship coming from? Do you personally know if she told BB she was single? Do you know if her and her boyfriend discussed her going into the house. For all we know, they both went down months ago to audition for BB and one of them suggested they pretend to be single to have a better chance of getting through. As Emily progressed through the audition stages, it became too late to tell the truth. I'm just guessing but how do you know it didn't go down like that.

And she has said that she won't be getting up to any funny stuff in the house, so where's the betrayal??

And please, post her and Alex's myspace links so I can take a look, if I'm wrong I'll say so, but I haven't seen any concrete evidence yet.
