Add this to the loss of his best friend at Christmas, the lack of LI aftercare, the public breakup with Megan. It's a lot on his shoulders bless him.

Ofc that fat bellend has something to say about it

He’s complicit.

Wow. I mean, I know the aftercare from Big Brother was reportedly a bit of a joke but 19 series did not result in a suicide and yet 5 (?) series of Love Island has now had 2?

I was just saying this - its great having your 5 mins of fame ~ all the freebies etc but when it drys up and the hangers on have gone ~ its lonely street especially when you've lapped up the reputation as he did.

Very sad though.

What’s her daughter dying got to do with the show?

Hate entitled little twats.

Fame can destroy a person just as much as it makes a person.

My thoughts are with his loved ones

Committing sucide is a selfish act. He knew the attention this would cause. Shame he couldn’t have got himself help. Nothing to do with love island or the producers.

This is why there is still such a stigma to mental health

Because you are saying it's a selfish way out but it's actually the only way

Someone died, have some ****ing respect please. There’s a time and a place to try and be edgy and this is neither of those.

I'm still really saddened by this, I think it's just because it seems so random and out of the blue... until you find out more about his life like his friend dying, then his grandmother, it's all so upsetting to think there are people out there suffering and grieving and thinking there's no one else to turn to.

SherzyK 16-03-2019 09:10 PM

Deeply saddened by this. The fact I was just looking at his Instagram account this morning makes it that much more unreal. Thoughts are with his family and friends <3

And to the ones trying to be edgy, I hope you don’t lose anyone to suicide. I truly mean that

Amy Jade 16-03-2019 09:10 PM

Quite gross seeing some knobheads on Twitter blaming Megan McKenna aswell.

It’s not the only way. He needed help and it’s a shame he couldn’t find it.

I mean, what else could he have tried?

I'm still in shock and still thinking about him. He's been on my mind since I found out about his death

Truly a heart-breaking tragedy. I liked him a lot on LI and I felt like he never got a chance to truly enjoy himself what with being on there 5-6 days during his two appearances on the show

I was watching his series last night- the episodes when he arrived

Tony Montana 16-03-2019 09:19 PM

I just hope and pray there isn't another death to come

Samaritans?

Afaik, Samaritans can't do anything if you threaten to kill yourself - that's what I've heard. But regardless, sometimes the help offered and available isn't always enough

Regardless, it shouldn't be our place to think about what he has or hasn't done to get support, or theorise what he could've done

Daniel-X 16-03-2019 09:38 PM

Heard this on the train home by some girls screaming, couldn’t believe my ears :(

Terrible news.
