And we finally get an interrogation scene. Should've known it would be Hastings on the other side of the desk. :worry:

Cherie 28-04-2019 09:16 PM

I thought she was really good. The interrogations are always the best bit. :flutter:

It's that horrible Gill setting him up! :fist: She's wanted to close down AC-12 for years!!!

:hee: she was brilliant, by my heart broke for poor Ted, she was so icy

Yes I think it is Gill as well

Marsh. 28-04-2019 09:22 PM

Not Kate coming for Ted's job. :omgno:

Crimson Dynamo 28-04-2019 09:39 PM

ted isn't guilty. A whole ep as a red herring. Poor

Marsh. 28-04-2019 09:47 PM

Well, the whole episode wasn't, obviously. He's obviously not bent, but it's all relevant to the plot.

His laptop, which I expected to be pulled out as evidence in the interrogation room, will save him I think.

Marsh. 28-04-2019 09:48 PM

The funniest part was Ryan going for an interview (in the police?). :joker:

LaLaLand 28-04-2019 09:55 PM

LaLaLand 28-04-2019 09:56 PM

What if the woman who interrogated Hastings is H and so she wants to pin it on him to keep her in the clear...

Marsh. 29-04-2019 05:08 PM

I'm starting to think the twist will be 'H' is not referring to the person's name. A prisoner on Cell Block H?

I think the same too

Line Of Duty actor Rochenda Sandall has hinted the series finale might not answer fans’ biggest question of all – who is H?
Viewers of the hit BBC One drama are currently speculating about the identity of the mysterious figure, who is heading up an organised crime group from inside the police force.
Although AC-12 boss Ted Hastings is currently under firm suspicion, Rochenda – who plays OCG member Lisa McQueen – has suggested fans might have to wait until the next series to get some answers.

I'd rather they didn't drag it out tbh. Even if the OCG plot line continues, it should be like the previous 4 series, where it's almost a background thread with some new elements taking the spotlight.

Line of Duty is great because it's so fast-paced, imagine if we were still on the Caddy mystery now. That was short and snappy.

depends how they do it I suppose 'H' has been the connecting theme throughout so maybe to expose 'H' before the next series if it is to be the final one wouldn't fit very well, Hastings might just be exonerated or not

Or he's thrown off the force and Carmichael is the new number 1 for series 6? :omgno:

I honestly have no idea or guesses on possibilities each episode leaves me more confused as the last one
