Praise the lord for the Simpson’s

user104658 06-03-2020 10:30 AM

I pre-ordered because my youngest will watch all of the kids films. Older daughter still loves crap like "Descendants", too.

LukeB 19-03-2020 12:35 PM

Smithy 24-03-2020 11:33 AM

LukeB 24-03-2020 04:00 PM

I wish the free trial was 30 days instead of 7

Glenn. 24-03-2020 04:56 PM

If you have Sky Q it’s on there now.

Ffffff I spent ages looking for that fire stick and remote (I did actually find both, too) but I have a PS4 and Sky Q. Didn't think to check either of them :umm2:

Yeah I was just being really impatient :joker:. I never see PM's at the moment because I'm always on Tapatalk and never go to the main screen. My PC has been abducted by a school-less child.

user104658 25-03-2020 02:47 PM

On the plus side, I now have FOUR ways to watch Disney+ on the main TV :joker:

Amy Jade 25-03-2020 04:21 PM

Definitely worth the £5 a month

After a very stressful day a disney film is always a life me up

user104658 27-03-2020 11:55 AM

So, the Disney+ app doesn't work on iOS versions under iOS11. My youngest has an iPad 4, which only goes to iOS10.

New rage.

There's absolutely NO reason for it, every other streaming app (Netflix, A-Prime, YouTube etc.) works on iOS10. Disney+ app works on an ancient Fire TV stick ffs. For what possible reason is it locked to iOS11 and above? Are they getting a kickback from Apple because they know that a lot of kids - the primary audience - have slightly older tablets and will need to upgrade to have Disney+?

Genuinely peeved. There's nothing wrong with her iPad 4, I'm not paying several hundred £ for a more recent iPad just so she can have Disney, and I can't even just switch her to one of our Android tablets because she's learning disabled and has gotten great at using and navigating her iPad but will be confused and frustrated if suddenly presented with a different tablet.

Looks like it’s adding films from 21 Century Fox

Hopefully it’ll include more than just PG films

Marsh. 10-12-2020 09:29 PM

What is Star? Yet another platform or part of Disney+?

Smithy 10-12-2020 10:04 PM

Yeah it’ll just be tab on the menu like Marvel/National Geographic/Star Wars etc

Due to the addition of Star, Disney+ will be raising its prices in Europe to €8.99. Star will include titles such as Kingsman, Die Hard, Alien, Atlanta, Modern Family, Homeland, and The Americans. Per Campbell, "We’re making a service even more compelling to older teens and adults." Disney+ will launch with Star in Japan and South Korea later in 2021.
Oh perched, if Alien is on there then there’ll be 18+ stuff

Marsh. 10-12-2020 10:10 PM

Oh good, I'll get it when they start adding more than kiddie films.
