Oh yes, that's what it'll be, people not being friendly enough to new members. Nothing at all to do with all the other sh1t that goes on here on a daily basis and that the mods have to try to handle in a balanced way.

Just for the record, I think there's a nicer feeling on TiBB right now than there has been for ages. Despite the devious crap that goes on sometimes.

Grow up. And don't try to speak for me.

Yes I get that too

I think Tibb is ticking along nicely now, just a shame a few people are trying desperately to get rid of people they don't like, live and let live, we don't all agree,it's a tough old life.

...I doubt it’s ‘finished’ or even close to being finished...I’ve been on very quiet forums before and they can run for a long time being quite slow, so long as members still keep logging on...which they seem to be...?...from an objective, unemotional/detached view though in the last few weeks only....it’s not looking great...the dynamics of it do not seem to be that positive...

...that’s all really I can comment on because that’s all I’ve observed in the time I’ve been here...

Ammi 01-05-2019 12:09 PM

...just one of the things that is sad...(..on a personal level...)...is seeing long-standing things like TiBB Eurovision go...but I know also that things must change and things must end...and that’s good and essential...

Struggled to pick my answer in the poll :fist:

of course, i do find it sad but i do want this forum to go on for a while longer

i just don't think we should delete big brother international, cause like i said in a earlier post, if we go more international with this forum, possibly attracting people from around the world that might still have some life

i would say BB/CBBUK just in one big neat archived section for those who still wish to visit that

anyway whatever change, i will still stay on here :hee:

This thread title reminded me of when Parmy called talksport about his beloved Jam tarts

...I’m sure TiBB will go on for a little while longer, Nicky...but even when it doesn’t I’m sure there’ll be a spin off... as in another forum forming with members so I wouldn’t worry too much as I think there will be somewhere for you to spend your time with people you know and like to chat to and about the things you like to chat about...

I don't really get the 'tibb is unfriendly' thing

I think the forum is pretty friendly in general and 2S and Nicky, please. You two are lovely but Liv is very welcoming, she's actually one of the nicest people to chat with on here imo

user104658 01-05-2019 01:12 PM

Not dead but we've lost regulars faster than we've gained them for the last couple of years and now BB is dead so unless the sire restructures to attract other reality telly fans, OR Big Brother miraculously gets picked up by another network and finds a new audience, I think the forum will probably fizzle out in < 5 years.

I've been a regular on forums that have died; it takes a while but it happens :bawling:

I also don't see TiBB dying because we have a good moderation team and quite active admin who catch the bots and things - the only other two forums I was on that ran into the ground were because admin/mods were inactive and porn bots took over

(The forums were The Burn Book and Heat Magazine forums lol)

...yeah it does take a long while though, you’re right....and even then there’s often a spin off...as in a new forum is formed....of the smaller forums I’ve been on...?...that’s happened every time actually so I’m thinking that would be the case here and TiBB would never truly die..or parts of what have been built wouldn’t...

If it was dead this thread would not exist.

Well, at least we have Love island to keep us entertained this summer. I'm looking forward to it  Does anyone know when the new series starts?
