no, thats not how it works. He simply needs to get a big enough % of the vote to be allocated a seat in the region that he is standing, he doesn't need to beat anyone.

i think the exit polls will give a clear indication on percentages, it's not like a GE with only one winner.

Yeah this is not on, fair enough the notorious bigots such as Tommy Robinson, Carl Benjamin and Nigel Farage, but a random old man? No. :nono:

this milkshake thing is not a good look, people should be entitled to support whoever they want without being assaulted

Tom4784 23-05-2019 12:52 PM

Those milkshake terrorists :fist:

I fear for the future of UK politics when Brexit party wins. How can anyone celebrate the fact that people will likely vote en mass for a party that refuses to share their policies until after an election? I think it'll kickstart a trend and if that's the case then we're ****ed. What's the point in detailing your plans when it's easier to court the uninformed and ignorant masses who'll vote for you without knowing what they're voting for anyway?

Dark times.

exactly, and every political party here in my country has made their policies, manifesto's public so people are well informed what they can vote for

so it's nothing more than normal, that sharing your policies/manifesto's is helpful for the average person, when it comes to important votes like these

Europe-wide polls show establishment parties losing their majority

At a continent level, the European Union's established centre-Left and centre-Right blocs are likely to lose their combined majority in the elections.

The latest Politico Poll of Polls analysis indicates that the two large pan-European blocs, which are comprised of a host of allied parties from each EU country, will lose seats under a tide of both populist and liberal support.

While the centre-Right European Peoples' Party (EPP) and centre-Left Socialists & Democrats (S&D) are likely to remain the largest parliamentary groups, experts warn that their current position of dominance is now "threatened".

Current forecasts indicate they will lose 97 seats between them, compared to their 2014 election result. - Telegraph

The Brexit party is at the forefront of this seismic shift in politics in Europe, time to catch the wave or forever paddle in the shallows

Luckily they don't stand a chance tbh, if only the same could be said for the Brexit party.

Yet you'll take nothing on blind faith.... Grim.

If someone lists their policies, you can hold them to it but if you vote on faith alone without knowledge of what someone stands for.... Surely even you can see the problem with that.

They are what it says on the tin. They want to change the UK, into a colony of the EU I believe.
