Chelsea deserve more.

I'm not ready for people to claim he is the next messiah because he scored a debut goal

Denver 11-08-2019 05:14 PM

Although on a performance like this looks like the first main cup of the season is coming to Anfeild on Wednesday

Great away win for Arsenal. Not a great performance but to put in context - our last three away victories with a clean sheet have come in different calendar years. Good to see so many young players playing so well but gotta call this now - Newcastle look like relegation fodder. They didnt create a chance and Calum Chambers, our perennial 'on loan' defender, looked like Sergio Ramos at centre back. Newcastle are in trouble already IMO.

What do you expect when they appoint a clown? I wouldnt be surprised if MA wants them relegated

I dont know why Ashley doesnt just sell up. Getting rid of Rafa clearly shows he's not bothered about results or quality of football.

AnnieK 11-08-2019 06:34 PM

Great start for United....carried on their pre-season form :clap1:

Only Man Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal have the credentials to claim to be a bigger club than Everton in England.

Nobody is bigger than Salford City.:hehe:

I shouldn't be mean, as they've done a cracking job over the last few seasons.

With Everton I can definitely see them having a shot at the top 6 this year if Chelsea's current form is anything to go by.

Tbf Steve Bruce did well with us and Wigan Athletic so it's not like he can't manage mid-table teams in the Premier League, it's just that the Newcastle players aren't good enough imo as Perez can't carry them anymore for obvious reasons.

2 game in a row our Goalie is injured so it's either a 36 year old who last played in League 2 or a 20 year old inexperienced goalie

Southampton have got the best player in the Championship last season in their side now though, so Van Dijk will need to be at his best to keep him at bay.
