Oh true the drama in 9 is up there

I just preferred who made it to the end in 7 and the cliques :hehe:

I think you should start with BGC9 and then go on to BGC7 after bc BGC9 has more natural drama and there’s always a storyline throughout.

Just that dance has convinced me enough to watch it

Once LI finishes in a weeks time I’m going to start BGC9, might have to make a little thread too maybe.

7 is great throughout whereas 9 is amazing until the last third of the season, so either would be a good choice!

Kate! 20-07-2019 06:22 PM

I liked her. She went too early imo. She was honest and open.

YES! If only certain people hadn’t been removed/walked then it would’ve been perfect.

She was really weird.

She constantly laughs for absolutely no reason, no wonder Maxwell and Anthony ditched her as she had nothing about her personality wise hence probably why she laughed all the time at minor comments to compensate for it lol.

Awww no I thought she was nice tbh. Don’t get me wrong she had a stupid game plan of just focusing her attention on Maxwell & Anthony and not really integrating with the rest of the housemates (which backfired on her) but I always thought after Lesley went, we slowly began to see a much nicer side to her. Just a shame that by that point it was too late.

Oh don't get me wrong, she was a nice girl and frankly she got bullied in there. I think her snapping at everyone was more mentally she'd had enough of people ganging up on her. (Same with overreacting to the make-up thing, I think it was getting all too much for her)

Some of her diary room stuff was hard to watch about her being bullied and I thought BB could've done more to help imo.

Yh it’s sad really BB should’ve probably intervened a bit sooner. You could tell she wasn’t really someone that could handle confrontation that well (although she did at times do her best to ignore it). I’m sure I remember an episode (must’ve been like Day 8 maybe?) where Makosi and Roberto are having an argument about dishes and Sam makes a comment to Makosi that upset her a little bit and after the argument she says to Sam “I don’t want to get ticked off at you, I’ll say worse things than Lesley said, I can be nasty”. Guessing by this, the Lesley/Sam thing was probably going on for a while and this was before the whole makeup bag thing too.

crashandburn 14-03-2024 07:20 PM

I must see a different Sam than everybody else.

She was up herself and very very deluded about how she came across. She constantly went into the diary room and spoke about how she hated everybody in the house and thought they were all idiots (not just the people she didn't get along with - she specified that she meant every single one of them, on several different occasions). She stole people's food without asking, refused to take part in the hospital task, yet acted like she was being bullied and she was totally innocent when a lot of the time she was causing the hatred towards her.

Despite all her nastiness, selfishness, and vapidness, she actually sat in the diary room and said "I think the public will respect me because of what I'm dealing with in here, and they'll also think I'm very sweet." Most deluded thing I've ever heard.

But then, reading all the replies here, I guess a lot of people did think she was sweet despite her very horrible attitude and actions. Like I said, must be watching a different Sam.

She's one of those housemates from the glory Big Brother years I have always had a huge soft spot for, I though she had great potential and I hope all these years on She's happy and doing well for herself

thesheriff443 18-11-2024 05:22 PM

I met Sam she came to big brother with her breasts in body paint
I recall after bb she attempted suicide

LaLaLand 18-11-2024 06:49 PM

If she did the show nowadays she’d do well I reckon. I never got the hate. Felt sorry for her if anything.

The way Derek spoke to her in the kitchen that time always stuck with a me (“jokes are not my suit!”), uncalled for.

Mystic Mock 19-11-2024 09:47 AM

I remember her being alright tbf.

Yh I agree I think a housemate like Sam would do pretty well in the show nowadays. I’ve been wanting to rewatch BB6 for a while but I can’t seem to find it anywhere.
