Just when i thought it couldnt relate to us anymore the scene with gavin and stacey talking about wanting to be stacey and gav not just mum and dad.....it touched me a lot!

It's not a discussion about the word within the song.

It's a discussion on the inclusion of that song in the context of the episode in the first place. They did NOT need to use that song, but they chose it on purpose. That's what has pissed people off.

I thought it was a bit odd at first, everyone looking older, things feeling different (Dawn's facelift :eek:) but then as soon as she pulled that spliff out of her bag it was business as usual and it was a great episode.

The episode started to get its momentum when Dawnie and Pete arrived. From that point forth it was flawless. They honestly couldn't have done it any better.

I'm glad it did so well in the ratings, though it was inevitable.

I enjoyed it. My favourite part was when Gavin and Stacey were stood at Barry Island and Last Request started playing. It brought back so many memories from the past ten years, felt so surreal :love:

Dawn and Pete were only in it for about 5 minutes but managed to steal the show :love:

I can't believe those offended by anything wetwipes are kicking off about FTONY though
