His younger self came out in All-New X-Men #40 in 2015. Dezzy, have you read that comic?

I'm not a huge reader of comics but when I do, I generally go for DC. I'm just up to date with Marvel because I have a friend that's obsessed with the comics.

I was never a huge fan of them turning Iceman gay and when I saw pictures of the panels I thought it wasn't great. It felt shoehorned when they could have just came up with someone new who was written to be gay from the outset.

You would probably get a lot of negativity tuning Spider-Man’s character gay,it would be far better to start with new characters that are gay.

Is there a reason he was patterned on Hulk?

There's a DC storyline where an alien villain models his henchmen on the various villains from Earth, because he likes them and basically wants to be the ruler of his own versions of them.

Ooh, so the story is like, a sequel to the main marvel characters and line then?

Are there any good marvel series’ on Netflix? I’d quite like to get into it more

Like Dezzy said, he idolises the Hulk. It's been years since I read it but I'm sure that's the main reason.

Daredevil. I want to start that myself but it's got amazing reviews.

Luke Cage and Jessica Jones are amazing too.

Their shows, along with Iron Fist, leads them all to team up in the Defenders.

I watched the first 3 episodes of the Defenders and it was brilliant.

I enjoyed it and binged it in like 2 days. But literally all of the best action scenes are Robin (they're pretty brutal :umm2: ) and it kind of made me wish they'd just do a Nightwing spin-off .

And then after that the most interesting characters (again in my opinion) are Hawk and Dove who appear in a few episodes and have one dedicated episode, and Donna Troy (Wonder Woman's sidekick) who was introduced in the last couple of episodes.

It's much (much) darker than the CW's shows, which I think generally works better for DC, especially anything vaguely Batman-related and again Dick Grayson / Robin / Nightwing is very much the lead in this.

The actual kids thus far are sort of.. irritating and incompetent...

Season two should be good though, they've got Jorah Mormont coming on board as (retired) Batman / Bruce Wayne which could be interesting. Also Superman was namedropped a couple of times and there was a post credits scene on the finale that... (S2 character addition spoiler)

Spoiler:

Heavily implies that some version of Superboy will be joining

In terms of the Marvel Netflix shows they're all worth a watch IMO. Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Punisher especially but Luke Cage, Iron Fist (S2 more than S1, to be fair) and Defenders are a decent watch too.

All are finished now (due to Disney streaming) BUT they all have complete story arcs, nothing was left on an unfinished note. Maybe Luke Cage very slightly ambiguous. DD's 3 seasons and Punisher's 2 seasons especially feel like "complete stories" to me.

No, it happens at the same time as everything else and the reason why Scarlet Witch has a grown up son is because she created him with magic when she went mad one time and ****ed up reality, if I remember right.
