He’s bagged a role in something he enjoys and is passionate about - it’s sad that people are that miserable that they’d put him down for that! Dani was the biggest star last year (whether I like her or not it’s true) and she is still doing acting, her passion, whether it be independent films or perf with surf - because she has always wanted to be an actress and did it before - it doesn’t make her irrelevant because she’s not doing thousands of PAs and following the rest

It’s worrying that some forum members just play dumb.. well I hope they’re playing

I wouldn’t bother explaining yourself because people don’t seem to be listening to any form of truth

If anything I was more confused as to why he did take the first offer he got. There’s a lot more money in dancing and pro roles than there are being on screen for 3 minutes a week as a receptionist ...

People aren’t solely driven by money, a lot of people do jobs to get their foot in the door.

Like Amber season 3 with west end (she could have made money faster short term doing PAs but she’s growing a career in what she wants, she’s still in west end now, whilst the money has sucked up for the majority of the contestants - not a fan of her btw)

Dani Dyer as mentioned above with acting (even if she is a terrible actress)

I’d say good for him for taking the role to be in a musical/theatre, he clearly has a passion in the arts and this may help him when the love island craze dies down

What Musical Theatre role?? There’s a difference between getting a gig working in the West End as a starring role in 9 to 5 working with Dolly Parton, and working as a recpetionist on an averagely rating talent show.

He’s free to do what he wants, and I’m not judging him for it, but if he even just waited a month I’m sure there’d have been a ton more offers coming his way that lead to better things.

He can always turn things down if a better offer comes his way ...and I’m sure they will.

Happy to join the bandwagon to mock...but adding little to the discussion as always.

Point out & quote one time there was mocking from me? I’ve posted twice in this thread one on page 2 and once on this page and neither contain anything near mocking. Anyone that doesn’t agree with you seems to be thrown into ‘the bandwagon’

But you were judging him for it Morgan...hence your thread

No not really...why are you putting gifs up and taking the piss out of the fact that this thread is still ‘going on’...if someone disagrees with me I have the right to defend my point...

Its pathethic that it keeps getting dragged on. Yall have said your points the other night. Try & get the user right before you say someone is ‘jumping on the bandwagon’ aswell since I literally posted twice in here

Maybe he's bored of this argument because at the end of the day it's not a big deal and it's not something to get worked up over. Morgan just simply posted what Curtis is doing next like Sle posted about Maura. Difference is people are a bit surprised about it because Curis talked about dancing because that's his dream and he has quit dancing with the stars for Panto and receptionist (There's nothing wrong with panto and being a receptionist ) but to me that's crazy! good on him but he had his dream job and he walked away from it.

Here they all come

Who is to say dancing with the stars was his dream job? You aren’t him? You don’t know if he was enjoying it? Even in that article it states he was wanting to move off that job to another, Strictly, so even by that papers standards it was not his dream end goal. If it was he wouldn’t have left - he’s choosing what he wants to do.

Morgan didn’t simply just state what he was doing as raised by rustic, he was judging Curtis for his decisions/ making fun of him for them, and then pretending he hadn’t. If he’d just owned up it would be fine, which is the point Rustic said is a shame that people negatively judge the islanders after coming out the show for jobs they pick up.

I mean being part of a musical/theatre that involves dancing isn’t really that crazy/random for a dancer either? Most people in the arts (a singer, or a dancer) enjoy many aspects of it..

Your argument just doesn’t add up as to why sle contributes nothing but gifs to a discussion

It’s not like sle spammed gifs on every post on this thread without saying anything. Before that gifty gif he only posted 1 gif but he also replied to you without a gif, he has contributed.

...and I responded to Sle in discussion. I simply find Gifs a cop out in any kind of debate. To post a Gif that insinuates this is a tiresome thread is deemed rude and I’m sure if Sle had his opinion under criticism he would be defending it too.
