When? I'm not watching/reading everything he's said for the past few weeks when you lot obviously have lots of proof he's been saying these things.

Maybe you should try following the news, he posted more than once about them and he's spoken about it in White House press events.

Yes and I'm stunned you think a gun shop has anything to do with murder

To obsess about a poster for a tiny gun shop in a tiny part of America

To make some point in a UK forum

Really, is this where we are?

But then they ran with it with all their might. And now someone's called them idiots. I hear worse on here every day. Every hour...

The word ‘Idiots’ is the main story here. Yep. End of. Nice analysis skills once again livz.

It is. We're pointing out the growing threat of far right violence in America as well as here (see the thread about the man convicted of murder threats to anti Brexit MPs).
And it's exactly where we should be.

The Cherokee Guns’ owner, Doc Wacholz, has denied that the billboard on Route 64 outside Murphy is a deliberate provocation. “I’m not inciting any violence or being racist. It’s a statement. It’s an opinion,” he told the Asheville Citizen Times.

...I wonder if it was four people in his own family whose images were up there, if he would still feel ...’it’s a statement, it’s an opinion..’...what an incredibly reckless action...but someone else’s family members so...

Yes, Trumpet. That is exactly where we are.

Yes, you'd think so, wouldn't you. I mean, you'd hope so.

Tom4784 03-08-2019 11:45 AM

Advertising guns by making out that the Squad is the enemy is clearly provocation that makes targets of them. 'Hey, look at these people we want you to hate, now buy our guns!'

Tom4784 03-08-2019 11:48 AM

Given that, come October, we are going to have an even closer relationship with the US then we do now, it's only smart to keep track of US affairs. Trying to mini-mod by making out that we cannot speak about US issues because of.....reasons?... Does nothing but stiffle discussion and news.

US problems will become our problems come October, especially if they end up dragging us into a war with Iran because we'll be reliant on them in a no-deal situation.

Andy Ngo, which far right group attacked him?

Are you concerned about growing far-left violence too?

Tom4784 03-08-2019 12:19 PM

Whataboutism and false equivalency, yet again.

You can't dismiss terrorism by trying to divert attention elsewhere just because you feel defensive over the term 'right wing' and you can't make out that throwing a milkshake over someone is the same as shooting them dead or inciting violence against them. Right wing terrorism is a real and growing threat that is recognised by security agencies on both sides of the atlantic. 'Left Wing terrorism' is just something fragile right wingers are desperate to throw about because they feel more protective of right wing terrorists then they do about condemning them and having to accept that something is wrong.

Well... yes, I would be strongly against that too. But, not everyone feels the same

I'm concerned about violence full stop.
I dont see far left violence growing though.
Instead I see increasingly divisive and hateful language from right wing politicians and dangerous rise in far right activity in real life and online. Racism, sexism and xenophobia rising, white supremacist ideology given support by the us president.

Ngo? The same who wrote lies about London?
