Why am I not surprised to find people defending racism on this forum.

Dogeatdog 25-08-2019 10:23 PM

Wow what an arsewipe. No one should be racially abused like that under any circumstances no matter how angry you are. I’m glad that this didn’t get seriously out of hand especially as he had a weapon on him :(

Please don’t sugar coat this racist’s actions. It is not unreasonable behaviour. It is RACIST behaviour.

Fact is, White supremacists like Trump and have said so on many occasions so its not too much o stretch given his rhetoric to see this on the rise. People, wisely or stupidly, sometimes trust and follow their leaders. It doesnt really matter that Donnies racist, what matters is that racists like him, alot.

White Supremacists, Extremists Celebrate President Trump’s Latest Racist Tweets

Trump said 'many people agree' with his racist tweets. These white supremacists certainly do.

Yeah fair dues that’s probably a bad comparison  yeah I get people agree with tweets, in this situation I’m more inclined to think the guy was tipped into saying what he knew what would hit home rather than anything else, but I could be wrong, like I say it’s a snapshot that could go either way

Whilst I would never condone the language used, its clear from the video he is frustrated by not getting the his form, I think we can all relate to 'computer says no' frustration, yes he was out of order, yes he was packing a gun, but he didn't wave it around which is pretty incredible given how frustrated he was, did someone behind the counter snigger, yes they did, we can all stand here and say omg thats awful but in a similar situation would we have uttered under our breath, fat bitch, old cow, or similar, it's on this thread..old fool...old bugger .... all seemingly very acceptable insults... who knows maybe he came back an hour later after he calmed down and apologised, or may he went back home and put a pillow case over his head, we don't know.... its a snapshot in time, ..... maybe he is an out and out racist or maybe he pulled out the worst insult he could think of at the time and went home and regretted it, I'm no Trump fan and its very clear in his posts neither is Bots, nobody trotted out after Clinton had it off with Monica that the whole of the USA was enabled to have affairs, so I find the narrative the everyone has suddenly turned racist due to Trump a bit hard to swallow in all honesty

You're just loving the role of devil's advocate this week cherie, is there any room in your miriad of what ifs to consider a modicum of self control?... accountability?
Yes he's old I don't believe that should excuse an outburst like this, had the thread contained images if a man in his 20s behaving like this the reaction would've been very different. ...That's ageist.
There is a slew of news reports recently of people using racially aggressive language, there has been a connection made that its due to the language and the attitude of trump. You might not agree but it's been well documented recently.

Its not just agreeing with the tweets but more some of the comments. Even one of the replies, from a known supremacist, called Trumps tweets 'racist'' while another proclaimed this was the kind of Nationalism that they voted him in for. They really love their President.

The fact he is old is in the thead title, if you're referring to my initial post they're all descriptors , he is ignorant, he is old and he is being a fool. I didn't suggest he was any of those things because he was old....That's ageist.

Frustration in places like that is relatable to most people.

Opting for racial slurs as a response is not normal.

This really.

Also I know that I've said this earlier but why carry a gun to a Post Office?

Ammi 26-08-2019 04:03 AM

...it was the mother of the guy who took the vid on his phone, who decided to post it ...she’s from Middle Eastern descent and herself and her son have both experienced racism before...

That's ridiculous...

Are we supposed to believe these racist outburst wern't happening before trump entered office? I'm sure it happened just as often as it is now, it's merely fashionable to blame or link trump to these outbursts...absolutely ridiculous assumptions there Kizzy by these people saying there is a link.

Load of tripe to even suggest there's a link.

Yes they happened before, I haven't said they didn't. .. as much as you offer up your faux bluster it's not an assumption, or a load of tripe to suggest trump has emboldened racists in America as brexit has in the UK.

Thank You Ammi
for Expanding the tweet
with a proper News Report

Kizzy 26-08-2019 10:11 AM

How odd that not once in that report did they mention the gun, with the latest racially motivated massacre fresh in people's memory?

I get that
as it is very normal in that state
to have a Gun on your belt

Maybe, I just find it really strange here's someone acting erratically, swearing aggressively at strangers and staff and there's no mention of a deadly weapon by his side :/

fat is also a descriptor you could have used, but like old, it has nothing to do with what comes out of his mouth
