Well I'd hardly expect him to be supporting them or their plans.

His own Party has enough problems .to deal with surely.

Still, it's what they all do but it's tiresome really from the lot of them, yes including Labour too.

...this is why language is so important and can’t be excused or ignored, no matter which political party...

The mayor of Greater Manchester has condemned an "unacceptable" banner adorned with hanging effigies that blamed the Conservatives for 130,000 deaths.

As delegates arrived for the annual Tory conference in Manchester, protesters hung a banner from a bridge in Salford saying: "130,000 killed under Tory rule, time to level the playing field".

Andy Burnham, a former Labour cabinet minister and now mayor, said the sign was "completely unacceptable" and it was being removed.

Tory councillor Kerry Boyd spotted the offensive sign in Peel Park, on the river Irwell, as she went for a pre-conference run.

Ms Boyd, a councillor on Thanet District Council in Kent, said: "Never have I felt more apprehensive than seeing this in my morning run pre CPC19.

I have nothing but condemnation for posters like that.
I welcome Andy Burnham's words too.

It's wrong and unacceptable completely.

joeysteele 29-09-2019 04:24 PM

Does anyone else.
Not just here with the Conservatives but with all the Parties now.

I really groan when Labour does it too, it really annoys me.

At these false set ups, of 3 figures with a host taking staged set questions from supporters.

It riles me.
If they are going to do it, do it opened up, no stage managing, with anyone not just supporters.

Otherwise just make a speech.

They make it all appear to be so serious, yet it's totally false and in my view, thoroughly boring to watch.

Nigel Farage goes into a pub and asks for a pint of bitter. The barman draws the pint and throws it into Farage's face. 'Why did you do that?' 'You asked for a pint, but you didn't say how you wanted it delivered.' Farage wipes himself down and says, 'I'll have a pint in a pint glass.' 'No. You can't ask again.' 'Why not?' 'Democracy
