Check the police ranks for kkk members and far right sympathisers

My guess the results would be an eye opener

Don't they always bring guns in America?

True, but why that was a prerequisite I will never know

Looking at the video it just shows that the guy really wasn't cut out for the job and that this isn't the first time that we've had the Police in America gun down one of it's civilians because they aren't trained properly to keep composure under stressful situations. He literally fires a shot about a second or two after telling her to put her hands up, he clearly should be sacked from his job at the very least imo.

RIP to the woman though, what a sad way to go, it was completely avoidable.

So true what he’s saying. If you see something out of the ordinary and can’t call the police without someone being killed, what can you do?

...it’s heartbreaking to watch his anguish and his feelings of hopelessness...if people feel hesitant to call the police in times of concern, then society is completely lost...that’s how he is feeling atm...that’s why the police officer has to be held accountable for her life loss, because he is the only cause of death...so sad and so wrong and all witnessed by an 8yr old child, who will also associate ‘police protection’ with the emotional pain of loss of a loved one../..someone who protected him...

...I watched the footage, she had no time at all between the order being shouted and the shot being fired..there was no editing there, it would have been taken down from public viewing, had that been edited...the editing, I believe...was the removal of all actions after her death that were filmed inside her property...because filming inside her property would go against state law...I read that’s the only edit that was made..the footage as it stands and as it was of the shooting, has been released for transparency...

...Atatiana Jefferson cared for her 8 yr old nephew with an older relative who was in hospital at the time...?...I don’t know what impact her death will have on care arrangements, whether the older relative will be able to continue that care, whether there are other relatives who are able to offer parental care...or whether he will now be part of a state care system...

The shooting comes less than two weeks after a white former Dallas police officer was sentenced to 10 years in prison for killing her black neighbour inside his own apartment. Amber Guyger said during her trial that mistook Botham Jean's apartment for her own, which was one floor below Jean's.

Guyger, 31, was convicted of murder for Jean's September 2018 death.

This is heartbreaking....A lady has lost her life at the hands of the Police and an 8 year old child will be traumatised for years to come... For what?

Horrendous event, poor guy

Who's being hysterical? People are condemning a Police Officer for shooting a woman through the window of a house seconds after telling her to put her hands up. The footage is from the officer's body cam. I see no hysterics.

Your view was undeniably biased.

Tom4784 14-10-2019 01:03 PM

I'd say it's more hysterical to deny what's in front of your eyes out of bias than it is to point out the evidence that contradicts your views.

Alf, you made out that this woman is to blame for not following instructions, the video shows that she wasn't given a chance to follow any instructions and there are NO signs of editing in the confrontation, no sudden cuts (when there definitely would have been if a segment of video that vindicated the officer was cut out). Best of all, you haven't even watched the video at all so your doubts are based on nothing but your own bias and not facts.

You're telling people who are more privvy to the facts then you are by merit of actually watching the video that they are hysterical when you are essentially jamming your fingers in your ears and going 'lalalala, I can't hear you!' when it comes to the facts.

Disgusting , the whole thing makes no sense .

I have so many questions & I feel like we're never hearing the full story. But once again police behave like trigger happy idiots , and you can't help but feel if it was a white person would they still of literally gone in guns blazing :suspect: .

There was even a child in the house as well ! .

The cop has been charged with murder and "resigned" from the force
