She's defended him saying it's all innocent and he just gives her "advice about boys" which... well... it doesn't sound UNlike textbook grooming to me?

That's exactly what it sounds like, no doubt he's telling her how she's too mature for boys her own age and they wouldn't understand her too

Mess @ a grown 40 year old woman getting herself into such a state. 5:28am so I would guess there was a lot of drink (potentially drugs?) involved. Either way, I can't see how she will be able to host Love Island after this.
