I've never bombed anyone. There's no such thing as collective blame, so why should the entire country pay when our tax money can go toward public services etc?

The Point is he has managed to get Homeless

A example of a Mayor doing good

Johnson PM says over the next 4 years
he will remove the Homeless.

The issue was not with mayors ... the issue is with prime ministers and what they do on the countries behalf.
Mayors and councils are irrelevant in this scenario.

But its all going to change,

As for Blair and Cameron
sure both wrong.

But now in the UK
we are trying to get the homeless of the streets
and that is above
bringing any children from Syria.

Who said you had? ... yet most were behind the bombing campaigns in Libya, I remember well the outpouring of support for it and the impassioned speech be Hilary Benn no less!

You can't claim 'not in my name' that's not how a democracy works, representatives vote for action, based requests from govt. Action was taken, it's too late now to say thats not what I wanted.
Now innocents need help it's time to turn a blind eye and claim there's no money...or there are others more deserving.
It's bull.

It's not a national priority though is it? this is ny point, yes one city is doing its best that's not enough. If the excuse is we need to focus on homelessness here where's the policy promises from central govt?

Dont be so childish
If something is deemed the fault of british government and they pay for it you will pay too and nobody will ask your opinion

arista 26-12-2019 02:39 PM

Kizzy

[The government has set up a £63m
grant scheme to help homeless households
in England into accommodation.

The prime minister has also restated
his commitment to end rough sleeping
by 2024 and an extra £3m to aid rough
sleepers during the cold winter months.

They work for us... are you denying there was overwhelming support for military intervention in Libya? You only have to check back to the comments on this forum.
You can close your eyes and stick your fingers in your ears if you want, it doesn't make us any less culpable for destabilisation.
