I do say so. What you say to adults and what you say to impressionable children are poles apart.

Well forgive me for waiting to "believe that when I see it"

"If an influential singer had told children Corbyn is 'a bad man' I wouldn't agree with their action either,"

I'll believe that when I see it

I still don't get it. Are you saying I'm a liar?

How could I be saying you're lying about something that hasn't happened? Maybe you believe that's how you would react, I don't know but when it does happen and you do react the same way, then I'll believe it, you're asking me to believe something that hasn't even happened which would be silly

He could say :
I did not support this PM
I wanted the OLD Fella
Then say all the things he preferred...........

The Slim Reaper 19-12-2019 10:38 AM

Explain how this government has any good people in it

Not the point I'm making here, try to stick to this specific issue.
Santa is not relevant here..nor is 'god'.

It's whether this man has the right to truthfully give his opinion on the PM to a child.

Nope that would be a lie, he didn't support the PM.

I haven't seen you applying the same principle to other hypotheticals on the forum. Perhaps it didn't suit you to do so.
I know my own morals and my own mind, and what I said is the truth. You not believing me is irrelevant.

That's not answering the question that was asked though.
If a child or anyone asks a specific question they deserve a specific and truthful answer.

This reply though :laugh2:

"Piers thinks the only way to listen to kids ideas is by tapping their phones though, he can't say owt"

Black Dagger 19-12-2019 11:40 AM

Piers only likes freedom of speech when it conforms to his ideologies. The bloke is a bore.

Marsh. 19-12-2019 12:02 PM

Why are false equivalencies being brought into it

Did Stormzy go into graphic and adult detail? No, he responded to a question asked of him in the most simple terms.

No.

Tom4784 19-12-2019 01:02 PM

Piers the snowflake strikes again. He clutches his pearls over opinions he doesn't agree with but not at tapping murdered children's phones.

Agree with this, but what Stormzy did was still wrong.
