Her looks aren’t the issue here though, it’s not Miss World

It's quite sad that he doesn't see himself as a victim, a lot of his statements and such that have been released sound like typical domestic abuse victim excuses for their partner.

There's no shame in admitting that you're a victim of a crime.

It doesnt help when she is famous and very popular either, I guess he feels he is in a losing battle which would make it even harder to come to terms with what has happened.

If she is in fact guilty as it seems she is then I hope they lock her up to make an example rather than let her off scott free sue to her fame

Calderyon 23-12-2019 07:52 PM

Crazy woman.

Lock her up.

thesheriff443 23-12-2019 07:59 PM

She is being tryed by the public, let’s face it if this was not in the papers she would of got her bail conditions dropped.

And Jesus you lot need to get a grip, his gf hit him with a lamp after finding stuff on his phone, he is bloody six foot four, there is no evidence that she has been abusing him on a regular basis.

It was probably fuelled by drink and drugs.

Would you be saying this if the genders were reversed? Hitting your partner with a lamp in any situation outside of self defense is domestic abuse. It doesn't matter if it was one time or not, domestic abuse is domestic abuse.

It may fall under the label of domestic abuse but it’s clearly an assault by a woman on a man who is in a relationship.

Assault is assault no matter who is doing it.

But in the eyes of the law how many times it has happened or even if has happened makes a difference in the sentence someone will receive.

She has lost her career and her income and hundreds of thousands of pounds due to this one incident.

If she was unknow She would not be getting this abuse.

Amy Jade 23-12-2019 08:36 PM

Wow it's way worse than I thought. Can't see ITV having her back on Love Island after all this.

montblanc 23-12-2019 09:00 PM

she's trash for this but i really hate those "if this were a man" or "if the roles were reversed" comments

Yeah, the fact he had to ring 999 and shouted "she's trying to kill me" and was bleeding so badly from a wound she inflicted whilst he was sleeping, the police officers who attended the scene described it as "horrific" is just normal behaviour and she should be applauded.

Does she have to have been doing this on a regular basis for this kind of abhorrent behaviour to require consequences?

Drink and drugs aren't an excuse either.

It is true though. A lot of people defending her would not be doing the same had he twatted her with a lamp whilst she slept.

y'see I get the sentiment but the thing is... it's true

I refer to this video. When I indulged myself in the tripe that was the Jeremy Kyle show, I don't remember anyone laughing at a woman who went through abuse. Yeah I know there's different audiences but it illustrates the point that there are people (hopefully a vocal minority as opposed to a majority) who don't take these crimes seriously
