Live reporting from the empty streets of London has become edgy with all the loonies in the background grabbing thier 15 mins of fame.

One more thing: I hear birds much better than before without all the cars noise and stuff. It's dope!

Strictly Jake 28-03-2020 11:45 AM

See Cherie I already had made a postive thread

smudgie 28-03-2020 12:07 PM

On a very positive note, my daughter and her partner are now seriously contemplating moving back up north, near us.

OMG same! I ran outside earlier because I thought my dog had gotten hold of a bird and that's why I could hear it squawking but it was just because there was less noise pollution I could hear it from the house! Bloody lovely!

All the villages around me have done leaflet drop to every house, even the outlying ones, with contact numbers in case people need shopping, help... anything. And I love that kids are painting rainbows and sticking them in the window just to make people happy.

But is anyone seeing some positive sides to the crisis?

Despite my kids driving me mad sometimes im getting to spend more time with them, Im getting 12 weeks off work paid, the weather is gorgeous so the isolation is giving us time to enjoy it. I have a baby coming in the next week or so(not great timing to be fair) so I will get to spend extra time with him too

Also it will help us to see how strong we are as individuals and a community, we will get through it and we will have learnt a lot from it

As I say its not good at all but it might help to see some positive sides what are yours?

Great thread !!

Congrats on the pregnancy !!

As I just mentioned in another thread really glad that children appear to be spared from this coronavirus.

I hope when it’s all over employers see the benefits of people working from home where possible even if it is just one or two days a week, less strain on transport networks etc

Yes good point

Its also shown just how quickly we could clean the world up if we were actually serious about it. Whales on migratory routes they haven't used for decades (because of industrial shipping), fish and even dolphins in the Venice canals... It's eye opening.

So very true !!

It’s astonishing how much the government has accomplished in the last ten days or so .. suddenly money is no object...

Hopefully they will pay nurses what they’re worth when this is all over and give everyone who’s worked on the wards, risking their own and their family’s lives - a huge thank you bonus !!

Just watched out of my window and 3 foxes tonight 1 ran off with the raw egg and 2 ate sausages and dog bickies , they are wicked to sit and watch.

Please everyone leave food for foxes there is nothing on the streets for them now.

I've been able to have time to do my own personal critical countdown between all of the Entertainment Industries, where I score a product out of 10 and then see where it ranks on my own personal table.

It's bull**** really:laugh: and most of it is made up of Video Games at the moment. But all of the Entertainment stuff is keeping me sane at the moment without being able to see most of my friends & family, plus no Football, and the rest of TIBB also seem to be like me where you can't help but constantly think of this terrible situation. So basically this little game that I've made is helping me at the moment.

Also being entirely honest I love the Entertainment Industry anyway, so this Game is definitely helping enhance that.:joker:

I'll stop waffling on now.

Oh and I still also stand by my original post on the this thread too, any bratty teen deliberately coughs in my face and I start going all AJ on them.:fist::devil:

Thought I'd seen one... Sorry jake! :/

I watch out of window and they share with cats which amazed me !

Be careful how often you feed them, I've done a fair bit if research and if you constantly feed them they will become reliant on you and come waiting by your door every night just try limit it to once a week

My heart goes out to those suffering and those mourning... but I could live like this forever.
