London seemed busy today..went through Mitcham then down through Clapham into the elephant and castle then down to rotherhithe tunnel...lots of people outside banks..and plenty walking about.

Hardly any vehicles though.

Our towns pretty deserted to be honest, it's all very surreal.

Weirdly it seemed a little quieter in my area today after being super busy for the past week

The queues are still ridiculous though... outside of Aldi it was halfway down the street in all seriousness. :skull: I don't understand why/how. Surely people have gotten everything they want and there shouldn't be a need to queue if people bought in moderation. The co-op's shelves today were literally EMPTY though. :worry:

I see a record number of rescue dogs have been rehomed this past week as well, they are either being used as companionship or an excuse to get out.

The lack of sirens today was refreshing as well..I didn't hear one all morning.

caprimint 31-03-2020 03:19 PM

I didn't hear any sirens today either now you mention it

It is really nice to go for a walk around when the streets are so quiet, literally never seen the city like this before :flutter:

I hope they are not abandoned when this is over Parmy, lets hope they have been homed in good homes.

Beso 31-03-2020 03:25 PM

Let's hope they don't **** all over the place first.

On my walk today I saw a REALLY classy funeral about to happen... two gorgeous snow white horses with a white carriage attached going into the cemetery

So rare to see something like that in London, I've only ever seen a black one before

MTVN 31-03-2020 04:55 PM

Any booze in here

:clap1: Great taste

Have you heard Chris Stapleton? I'm not really a fan tbh but he's really popular and I feel as though you might be

Alright no need to rub it in </3

Ah I've never really listened to much of him so I'm not sure, I'll give him a listen this week. My all time favourite country act is Brooks and Dunn and they were the only ones I listened to for ages until I started hearing more of the current ones

Homecoming Queen by Kelsea Ballerini is a great tune

I've never heard Brooks & Dunn so I'll give them a listen this week as well, also Jon Pardi is GREAT but again I haven't heard much but I love that song you posted so he's another one I need to see more of. Maybe quarantine will be useful for something :pipe:

Haven't managed to convince anyone else that they're that great yet so not sure you'll like them lol. They are the most recent inductees to the Country Music Hall of Fame though :pipe2: the whole Heartache Medication album by Pardi is really good I think, some of his early stuff isn't that great but he seems to be doing really well now

It’s unfortunately usually a child when they have white horses
