I mean compare Her lead singles performance with the song with Ariana Grande singing lead. People do buy music/album based on the singles

Wow people fuming over Ariana selling Lady GoGos album

Yes, that song performed well, but Ariana was only on one song. I can guarantee you nobody bought the album for the ariana song. Stupid Love was still a Top 5 hit and is silver certified (the same certification as Rain on Me so your point is .....?) as well has being her first UK top 5 since Born This Way (excluding ASIB tracks) so your point really is invalid because like it or not this era has been huge for her and secured her back into the mainstream, particularly for the UK.

She’s also heading out on a Stadium Tour, Ariana is still in arenas

So by that logic I’m guessing people bought Chromatica after listening to RoM, under the assumption that Ariana would feature on every track?

Makes sense!

My neighbour thought it was a joint project and she was deeply disappointed after spending her money

Huge impact? Isn’t her album already out the top 20 in US (The biggest market) and it’s only been a month :skull:

Anyway back to Taylor Saift I listened to the album and it seems good to me, I liked the last great American dynasty

You’d be less annoying if you weren’t full of ****

ew just had listened to 2 songs, hoax & cardigan

dull dull dull

doesn't even reach the Heights of 1989 for me

and this album in this year doesn't even come close to the perfection that is Future Nostalgia by Queen Dua, who outranks her music wise, by far but dua has far more experience already so

Funny how Douglas struggles to argue with the actual facts :joker:

You tell me  you’re the one following her career and a big fan otherwise you wouldn’t talk about her a lot. This is a taylor swift album thread where people discuss her album...gaga/ariana have no relevance to the album because they are not featured on it. If you want to compare women and do pop wars check out twitter full of teenagers to do it with.

Nicky91 24-07-2020 10:46 AM

emotionless, lifeless trash music equals Taylor's music scene of last few years, and again in this rubbish album

It’s rude to call members like Smithy etc teenagers when I believe they’re not? He and others might not be happy with that comment you’ve made

I didn’t even talk about Lady Gaga, I was talking about Taylor Swift and her marketing of the album, and also stating she isn’t following lead of others by using featuring artists on albums (aka not using Ariana Grande to sell albums, which many people seem to be doing at the moment). I only checked those statistics on the response of you mentioning Lady Gaga and saying she was having a huge impact, and after checking I guess she isn’t. Anyway let’s turn the thread back to Taylor Swift :)

Smithy 24-07-2020 10:51 AM

Imagine being in your 20’s trolling a dead big brother forum for enjoyment I mean girls, be nice to her! She clearly has it hard at home

LOL, Taylor born with a golden spoon in her mouth, if it wasn't for her super rich parents she would not be famous right now

I still wanna see what Douglas dreams up to discredit this.

I’m not a swift fan, I’ll perch the album later to see if she’s still trash
