all the apps do the same thing throughout the world, so efficiency doesn't enter into it.

If I were out and about meeting people for > 10 mins at a time, i would download the app in a heartbeat ... but i'm not, so the app just isn't useful for me

Can you imagine, I work in the gatehouse of a busy distribution centre, around 400 vehicles a day pass through.
So say me and the other 2/3 guards who work there get a text.
How do the vehicles get booked on/ off site?
