Explain how Hamilton has been extremely competitive throughout his career in other cars that weren't the best? When Vettel had that really fast Red Bull Car Hamilton was still right on his toes in every single race.

Hamilton is just a really good Driver, just like Tyson Fury is a really good Boxer.

There's no point in me taking credit away from Fury's achievements, and there is also no point in people taking away Hamilton's achievements just because they don't like him, and they conveniently keep forgetting that Bottas drives the same Car as Hamilton and has yet to win a F1 Championship even though he is a really good Driver.

Tyson fury is a victim of his narrow minded up bringing and a lack of education to him and his family that go back hundreds of years.

Anthony Joshua presents him self as a wholesome person and thinks carefully not to offend anyone before answering any questions that may affect his brand.

Lewis Hamilton has no personality but has done very well in his chosen sport but any one that watched two races before when he had COVID a 22 year old British guy was going to win the race in Lewis’s car after taking his place but his team made one of the worst mistakes in gp history with screwing up his tire change, so it leaves the question how much is it down to driver skill or the fact you have the fastest car

that's why i was saying earlier in the tv license thread over at SD, maybe be like our national channels and have one particular advertisements section before and after each show, we got a thing called STER like that you can still broadcast your shows without ads inbetween but you can still make money via ads in the 5 minutes before and after each show

I was the same until I saw a documentary on him recently... he’s a complex character but he’s not a bad guy .

also sports personality award is kinda unnecessary this year with many sports events cancelled

here in my country we didn't do our sports personality awards exactly for that reason

Hamilton had the best car when he won his first world title then moved to Mercedes at exactly the right time as they became THE dominant team .

I’d say the real genius is the guy who’s been guiding his career .

How do you account for that young lad who had never driven the Mercedes leading the F1 by 17 seconds ( driving Hamilton’s car !) The lad even had to radio through to ask what one of the buttons on the steering wheel did ... mid race !!!

You constantly say you want Strictly taken off air.

There's no doubt that the Mercedes car is ahead of the other Cars.

I'm just saying that in fairness Bottas hasn't won a F1 Championship and he drives in a Mercedes Car.

For me personally though I would like F1 to do a season where the Drivers have to drive for all of the teams (for example one week Hamilton drives for Mercedes and then the next week he'll be driving for Williams) and so on and so on and then we'd see who really is the best Driver.

Sadly I don't see F1 doing that in case your Hamilton's and Vettel's don't do so good.

Hamilton was a worthy winner, he achieved greatness this year in his sport, but so did Fury and O'Sullivan and those two should have been in the top three. Henderson wasn't even the main man for his team, Van Dijk and Mane were, he should never have placed above Fury and O'Sullivan.

It’s a pity they can’t all do a qualifying lap in the same F1 car ... it could be one built by a separate team ... at least they’d all have a chance of starting the actual race from a good position .

Just something to level things up .

I’m sure there’s an American sport that at the end of the season allows the WORST placed team to have the FIRST pick of players and so on .. the best team chooses last ..
