She’s in 5th year (17 in a few months!!)
She’s had a rough time too.. she’d been having counselling for anxiety and depression, and was starving herself... then lockdown happened and she’s now like a new girl! Like us, I think it allowed her to completely relax for the first time in a long time and all the pressure of exams, friendships, school, boys etc etc was taken away.
She’s flung herself into her studies and is generally just a happy, normal teenager

:laugh2: I did no home schooling whatsoever.. even drink wouldn’t have got me through that! My two did a couple of things online but apart from that we just chilled and drank and ate

...weird, isn't it...how something can have such negative impact on some, but can be just what is needed for others...it’s also given that time for her to be able to talk to you all about it so that you’ve been able to go forward together....for her, just being able to have some of those stress layers removed and the distancing from those layers has meant that she’s been able to reach her family more easily...I’m so glad that she seems ok, it’s so tough for siblings as well when illness becomes such a part of the family.....

It's like an episode of Loose Women in here.

...the important thing is that you’re all having this opportunity to realise it and take those steps now to ensuring her future well-being as well and you’ll all share that care together..and it might have taken much longer to get to that place, had there not been a forced slow down of pace...out of the worst things, can come such positives...

...yeah, it was as good as we’d hoped for but very contactless and hugless and I’m missing that so much...

I’m not a cuddler really, (social distancing, another positive I’ve found) but I REALLY want to give my wee mammy a cuddle.
And I didn’t cuddle my kids for the first couple of weeks of lockdown just in case I had picked the virus up at work and I found that really hard.
Here’s hoping the new year brings some sort of normality.. can’t see it being soon though.

Welcome back Lee.

There's nothing wrong with Tennessee or Kentucky.:hmph:

Louisiana on the other hand.:hehe:
