About the forth bridge down stuff (I wasnt aware that was Phillips code words) but our forth road bridge was locked down by the emergency service and coastguard Friday night due to someone about to jump off not sure if just an odd coincidence though

That’s enough to send twitter into meltdown

A quick google

Customarily, the public is forewarned that a royal is on his or her deathbed via Palace bulletin, as was the case with Queen Victoria and George V, reports The Guardian.

He’s 99... what 99 hasn’t said something rude/disrespectful before? He’s no different to every other 99 year old in that respect

We and you will have said things that will be considered rude and disrespectful in 30-50 years time right now, should we all just go ahead and kill ourselves and leave no one alive then? This is ridiculous

there was a code word for the queen mother dying, because it implements particular protocols across government , palace and news agencies.

I remember when Diana died they were all prepared for it being the queen mother and had nothing in place for Diana

...the more I think and look at pics of Charles when he left from visiting his father, the more I’m thinking more that ...’in good spirit’ and just precautionary etc isn’t how Philip is at all, I so hope that that isn’t the case at all and the observation of him is true to what has been reported...

I only know about these "bridge" code words because of the episode of The Crown where they thought Charles had died in an avalanche. I thought it was made up for the show TBH. Probbally is.

Well I just read an article that says Charles returned home after visiting his father.....if he was on his death bed he would have stayed in London.
