I actually thought he'd atleast sit through, but to storm off sulking instead just proves once again what a pathetic low life he is .

rusticgal 09-03-2021 05:35 PM

It was embarrassing....he just couldn’t take it.

Absolutely this Ammi

I felt Alex's frustration , Piers must be the most overbearing irritating person to work with  . He's loud obnoxious and he never listens. And he loves the sound of his own voice.

I found it cringy when he said he'd love his child to bring home a black girlfriend :bored: , he totally missed the point Alex was making.

Plus if anyone in his family dated someone from a different racial background then their colour shouldn't be made an issue, but I bet Piers himself would say something ignorant to them.

GiRTh 09-03-2021 06:05 PM

This is too funny

Piers and Alex already had been at loggerheads on twitter yesterday. this mornng was just a continuation.

I think GMB will regret this ~ Piers is getting a lot of support on twitter Sharon Osbourne is for him.

Yesterday was highest viewing figures ever ..... watch them drop like a stone.

Who cares about ratings if his comments are so nasty?

They should never have allowed him to spout off as much as he did.....he was always going to upset the wrong person eventually with his bullish nature. Taking politicians to task is one thing.....but accusing someone of lying about mental health whilst there is a bit of a mental health crisis during the pandemic was a step too far in my opinion

and ITV had to do something really because you can't really have a mental health campaign and allow Piers Morgan to make those comments. He should have been let go years ago when he told a depressed man to man up.

GoldHeart 09-03-2021 09:02 PM

The core of his bitter obsession

I agree. I do not believe that the ‘tough love’ approach is the correct way to help people who are struggling with depression or mental health issues. I think it’s a more insensitive approach in my opinion.

I think it says a lot about our culture and our country, actually. Though we’re not the only ones...

The fact that people are suckered in by transparent right wing trolling and lame ass culture war nonsense, lapping it up like rabid dogs. The fact that this is actively encouraged by broadcasters, and that people are employed to literally perform this very role. And the fact that this is a legitimate career choice for many people in the public eye, and that it works. That people buy into it. And that people on the left also fail to see it for what it is, constantly amplifying it in good faith. It is vacuous beyond belief

...yeah, I think this is it really...GMTV is pro #BeKind and anti bullying, it promotes that as something it supports and stands for, type thing...which completely contrasts with Piers’ personality, which is very bullying in nature ...’everyone is entitled to an opinion’ ...but when others are trying to voice their opinions, he speaks over them and rarely listens....even with his own colleagues ...but it’s also the fault of GMTV for allowing him to continue...
