...seeing all of the ladies come back, it really was a reminder of what a wonderful cast/season it was ...such a glow of bright glamour and gorgeousness to look forward to each episode in darker COVID times...and some really incredibly touching moments as well in their life stories...

...a huge, huge condragulations to Lawrence Chaney......

I'm ecstatic Lawrence won! The hate on here for him kept me from posting, but my side of the world watching it love him. Anyone I know watching had a soft spot for him, so it's very easy to see why he was a contender for the crown. Bimini had a great second half of season, and would have also been a worthy winner... but Lawrence was my favorite from day one.

Congrats to Scotland, Big Queens and Comedy Queens! It's a great day!

There was no hate anywhere towards Lawrence on this forum:shrug: Only people who don't like her due to the behaviour.
I think most people are disappointed but it's not because it's Lawrence, but probably more because Bimini didn't win despite their performance on the second half of the series.
Lawrence always has been a contender, just less than Bimini recently but that doesn't mean anybody is hating on her, as in Twitter hate or whatever.
Congrats to Lawrence, she'll do amazing things with the crown.

Get it out of your head that anyone like Bimini (White, Blonde, Skinny) will ever win again any time soon.
Even Rose as a bit fat and brunette has absolutely no chance of winning US13 even though the world hates everyone else on the cast.

Gstar 19-03-2021 09:46 AM

^ Rosé is skinny

Tayse slayed that final performance :clap1: lip sync assassin confirmed

Shook at the final result but congratulations Lawrence. Enjoyed the season and it was nice when all the queens returned

I love Lawrence and I'm so happy for him but Bimini has it all, she should have won and we were all rooting for her. Very weird. When the winner was announced I thought I misunderstood or something.

Yeah same. It's not even against Lawrence and I'm so happy for him. But really Bimini was beyond. I hope Lawrence doesn't get too much hate on social media and can enjoy this moment!

Yeah 100%

I know this is old news now ,but I only recently watched the final and I knew it was always going to be between Bimini & Lawrence . Lawrence winning is underwhelming.

I didn't like how she treated Ellie Diamond over that petty squabble over the comedy gig order . Lawrence kept bringing it up constantly:rolleyes: .

I guess the judges thought Lawrence was funny and they wanted her to win .

Drag Race UK icon Tayce ditches the baked beans to become new face of Coca-Cola...

Having missed out on the crown in last week’s final, Tayce is launching into her post-Drag Race career with a new advertising campaign for the iconic soft drink.

The season two lip-sync assassin and runner-up is joined by stars including It’s a Sin’s Nathaniel Hall, Roman Kemp, Lady Leshurr, Saffron Barker, and Dua Lipa’s sister, Rina Lipa. The campaign was photographed by Anais Gallagher, daughter of Oasis star Noel Gallagher.

“Everyone knows me as that queen that’s bubbly, unique and hard to describe – just like the taste of a Coca-Cola,” Tayce said. “Honey, that first sip is enough to make you say ‘OOOH!’”

Tayce recently broke her silence on the Drag Race UK finale.

“It feels so surreal that @dragraceukbbc is over,” she wrote on Instagram, “but this is just the beginning.”

“I had the best time and I found an amazing sisterhood. There were highs, lows, I stumbled a few times but I always put my all into everything no matter what, with a smile on my face no less.”

Speaking to PinkNews and other outlets before the final, the Welsh queen said she was glad to have proven herself by lip-syncing four times.

“I think there’s something to be said for a bad old lass who can knock four girls out of the park,” she said.

After the final Tayce hit half a million followers on Instagram. And what’s more, it’s clear that RuPaul is a fan of hers – he saved her four times, after all.

“Honestly, it’s the mind games of it all,” she said. “To lip sync a fourth time, it’s like, do you want me here or not? Or do you just want a show, do you like the performance?”

...some pics in there and she looks amazing......I think in the end it really doesn’t matter the actual winner as such....more where Drag Race road experience leads you in terms of careers...

Good for her, Bimini also tweeted that she was at a meeting with a high profile modelling company, we stan talent.

I know I seem like a big Bimini hater, but all she does on social media is brag and boast about her success. It's off-putting, and she doesn't come across down-to-earth at all.

Her popularity baffles me.

Shaun 25-03-2021 04:37 PM

I think you're reading what you want to read but okay

She's been nothing but nice

Samm 25-03-2021 04:55 PM

same i think bimini is probs one of the most down to earth queens the show has ever had. she will speak out against anything. really supported lawrence in her win gracefully even though she had a massive campaign behind her.

Not at all. Bimini’s Twitter is literally ‘I’ve done this’ or ‘I’ve done that’ whether it's modelling, music or generally teasing announcements. She comes across as a bragger/boaster. Like, at least wait till the end product; if it was anyone else they’d probably be called out for it at this point.

That's hardly being down to earth; it's just not being stupid, lmao. I don't think any queen would say, as obnoxious or stupid they may be, ‘I deserved to win and not you’ in all seriousness :joker:

Are...they meant to shy away from sharing their accomplishments?

If you're really taking something like these:

as "bragging or boasting" then you're being... incredibly sensitive and reading a lot between the lines lmao. The "mindblown" emoji pretty much confirms it's very much an alien/new thing to them.

Saph 25-03-2021 06:17 PM

the season only finished like 5 mins ago :skull: give her a moment to brag a bit

I'm not going to embed every tweet they've written, but it's more than the two mentioned above. I'm more than happy to hear about accomplishments and genuinely do think 'good for them', but it deserves to be called out if it's on a superficial basis, especially in contrast to someone like Cherry Valentine. She uses her social media presence for good and doesn't feel the need to brag daily about the fact she's saving lives.

I think it's just frustrating because I've genuinely never been more flabbergasted by a queen's popularity on the show, but I'll be over it in a few days, lol.

NO :oh:

Marsh. 25-03-2021 07:32 PM

So basically you're not a fan of Bimini so will take issue with anything she says.

There's no correlation between Cherry Valentine talking about saving lives or not and Bimini posting what she wants to on her own page.

I am still gobsmacked by the fact that Bimini exists. Smitten, even.
