So some results Sunday.

ITV1HDnews.

46 should be declared by tonight, another 27 aren't counting until Saturday.

If the SNP do take a convincing majority and things continue as they are in England (Tory gains across the board) it really does paint a pretty stark picture that can't be ignored.

The question is SNP minority government or SNP majority government (because we use a form of proportional representation). Tories can in theory gain seats but the SNP will remain the biggest party by a long way... sorry Nicky :hee:.

Yes
Even Lib Dems took Councils from Labour.

This is what Keir deserves, he spent too long faffing about trying to purge any remaining lefties, that he’s taken his eyes off the ball and hasn’t been doing his job of being an actual opposition leader, I wonder who he’ll blame this time though

Remember Mark McDonald had to resign from the SNP and become an independent due to his behaviour towards women.

The turnout was 57.8% with a swing of 6.2% from the SNP to the Conservatives.

This was nowhere near enough to present a serious threat to the SNP, who won by more than 9,000 votes.

BBC Scotland

also, Aberdeen are pro union so if the tories were going to get votes, it would be from there

Crimson Dynamo 07-05-2021 12:29 PM

Scotland:

It appears that turnout has gone up for this election – every seat which has verified ballots so far has reported a rise of 5-10 points.
