That Animal does not have any TB.

Well it appears only her appeal and petition to the Prime Minister can save him now.

I won't be holding my breath.

I agree, it has never looked anything like an unhealthy animal.

This is weeks now it's been on TV with her, she doesn't hide him away.
He's eating, drinking and appears fully alert.
There's something not right here.

Let's see if Johnson decides to save it or not.
It's a shame in my view, the courts didn't at least order a more independent test.
Just to be sure.

He could allow the Special Test she wants
that would help him get more votes

Yes that would be the right thing to do in my view.

I'm not a vet obviously but over these weeks of it being on TV with her.
There seems little to nothing wrong with it at all.

So one more just precautionary test to be certain, I don't understand why that CANNOT be done.

Police
arrived, helping them take the animal way.

Confirmed, the animal has sadly been put down.

joeysteele 31-08-2021 12:27 PM

All those police cars and police presence to take one animal away to slaughter it.

What a sad thing to see in the 21st century.
Obviously Johnson didn't give a damn, after her strong appeal and petition to him either.
I do feel very sorry for Geronimo's owner.
She tried her hardest and very best.

Exactly.
Not one law for her and another for everyone else.

It's like a communist dictatorship or something, where the state can just take your animals away and kill them.

and quite right too, when it is a threat to the health of the population as a diseased animal is. Think mad cow disease and foot and mouth.

I understand the decision though sadly from the Government's perspective.

No, disposing of a diseased animal that poses the threat of an outbreak to other animals is not the mark of a dictatorship.

You are positively serving those Americans that act like mask mandates are akin to the holocaust.

Calm down you drama queen

I just see this on the news and thought exactly the same. The way the poor animal was chased around was heartbreaking. The owner should have made the last moments the least terrifying for the animal as possible.

Crimson Dynamo 31-08-2021 06:24 PM

It ran to the owner in desperation

disgusting heartless bungling arseholes chasing it

This story was never going to have a happy ending
Maybe the owner didn’t want to lead him to his death after fighting so hard to keep him alive
After all some on here would see him put down long before now.

Did you you slugs scream when they are in pain.
